Easy to install and works great—a great tool for baby-proofing your home

Ever since we moved into our new home my baby has been obsessed with the springy door stoppers (the ones that go “boing”!) and he had managed to pull almost every one of them off the wall. (They screwed onto a little metal piece making them easy to pull off- terrible design) I was elated to find these and even more happy to know how easy it was to replace the old ones. Simply unscrew the little metal piece from the trim and screw these into its place. A helpful tip is to use dish washing rubber gloves to screw it in and gives you a lot of traction and makes it so much easier to get them into the trim. Also make sure to hold it straight so it goes flush into the wall. No more worries about my baby getting ahold of the other ones. Very happy with this product!!

Fairly easy to install...but my arms aren’t strong enough to get them in all the way without a small wrench or clamp tool (although I can get them really close). I love that these are all one piece, so much safer for the kids, easy install and keeps those door handles away from the walls. Works great!

We ordered these not because we needed them for childproofing, but because they're longer then regular door stops. We do have small children (5, 3, and 5m), but we don't go crazy and bubble wrap everything in the house. I'm sure these would be appreciated by people that do that though. They're all one molded piece, and they screw right into the hole where the previous door stop was. Our issue was that because of the design of our doorways and style of door handles (and the way our kids open the doors with great abandon), we had dents in the walls where the handles kept hitting the drywall. The door stops just weren't long enough. These did the job perfectly! We repaired the dents and now our walls are staying dent free! I would recommend these for anyone having the same problem we did.

These door stops could quite literally be a lifesaver. Our daughter was always trying to pull the white caps off our old doorstops. Worried she would choke on them we purchased these door stops. These are one solid piece of plastic so no small pieces for a baby/toddler to pull off. They were easy to install, just unscrew the old ones and screw these in. They are not the ‘softest’ on doors swinging in to them but so far no marks on our doors from them.

The hardest part of installing theses is taking the old ones off. There were a few where I had to take out my wrench to screw them in. I think it took about 20 mins for me to do all 15 of them. These have a nice streamline look with being one piece. They seem to function fine. I love that my baby and puppy aren’t able to take any pieces off to try and eat them. Seem like great quality for the price.

Used these 27 years ago to child proof my home. Bought them more recently to cat-proof because my cats kept chewing off the little plastic caps on the ones in our home. Have already paid for emergency surgery once for their plastic obsession. Sound investment.

My baby was getting really curious about our door stops in a rental that had some pretty beat up gross ones. I feel so much better having these down on her level and knowing they can't be easily twisted off and that there are no little parts.

My 10 month old loved Flinging the spring door stoppers that we had which was unsafe but really more annoying than anything especially to our downstairs neighbors, so we replaced them with these stoppers. Super easy to install and are so much more aesthetically pleasing to look at than the spring ones. Also, safer for baby!

As promised, these screw right into the existing hole in the molding and are long enough to keep door handles from gouging the wall. They are not soft, but are gentle enough not to damage doors. And if you have babies, there's no worry about small pieces being a choking hazard. I thought this was expensive until I realized there were 3 in the package!

I am slowly replacing all our spring door stoppers with these. I'm very surprised these are so hard to find at big box/major hardware stores. Having kids, these are a lot safer and durable being 1-piece. Our kids are also less inclined to play with them, because they don't make noise. They even look nicer than the builder-grade spring door stops. So I will definitely continue to buy these.
