This works well, no doubt about it. I generally wear a full face of makeup including primer, concealer, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, foundation and a translucent photo finish powder. Some days I only wear concealer and eyeliner. I have used this product on both. My skin is sensitive to most face washes, so I decided to try this cloth. You MUST wash it prior to first use or it will repel water and will not work. The cloth is a soft, plush material and a good size. It does work to remove face makeup, including heavy applications. While it helps to remove eye makeup, it will not completely remove it. I also find that I still need to use eye makeup remover and if I go over my face with a pad, I can still remove excess foundation. If you plan on using this as your sole makeup remover, you will need to order several. Even though I rinse and ring mine out and hang to dry, I find that the cloth retains smell and needs to be washed often.

I ordered this with high hopes. My first use was amazing. I have a really hard time getting all of the makeup off my skin no matter what i use and this seemed to take it off in one use. I usually used it more like a washcloth with my normal face wash and it worked wonders.One evening I went to use it after hand washing it the night before and the very humid air left it smelling very musty and mildewed so I grabbed another washcloth and used it the same way, just water initially and then with my face wash. It worked just the same to remove the makeup as this towel. I was a little disappointed and felt duped.Until I took a second look at my face and realized that it was red all over from the washcloth. That's when I realized that the biggest difference is how gentle this is with my skin. I now will use my hands before I use another cloth and will be ordering more for backups

I thought it had some sort of "cleanser" in it like some sort of magic eraser for your face lol. I don't think that's the case. Basically, it's rubbing your make up off with a towel. It can tug on your skin. It doesn't remove mascara very well, it would leave me with streaks of it on my cheekbones like a quarterback and I've had to rub it off pretty hard. I'm giving it 3 stars because it's very soft and pretty convenient and removes face make up pretty well.

Works for everything but mascara.ETA: after a few weeks (and washes) it starts to smell awful! I've washed it several times and it still has a weird smell.

I still don't know how it works, but these are amazing! I picked up one to try and came back to order more for gifts after the first use. Just wet it with WATER and use it on your face to take off all makeup. It does an incredible job at taking off any kind of foundation, eyeshadow and - MY NEMESIS - mascara! My face feels and looks so clean after I use this. It's awesome! I would always wash my face before bed, but could never manage to get away without raccoon eyes from my mascara. I wear a waterproof kind, and it's awesome during the day, but when it comes time to take it off... good luck! With just a few swipes, this takes it off... and the raccoon eyes... without much effort at all. It gives you the same result you would get by using some of the over the counter eye makeup removers (like the ones you shake up and they leave an oily residue). Even if you just use it for that, I'd highly recommend it!I've now been using it for about 8 months and it's been very durable. I haven't used it every day, but at least twice a week. So, it seems pretty durable.

I saw these and read the reviews and thought I'd buy two. One for me and one for a gift. Didn't want to pay the higher price for the Pink Eraser I bought for my daughter. Next time I will pay more to be sure I get a product that works. These rags do not do a good ju=ob of removing make up and they stink, even after washing.

It is an expensive fluffy wash cloth . I tried and tried to use it without using any other product but it just pulled on the skin especially around the eyes... and I don't want to encourage any more wrinkles. I will continue to use it but only with my face cleanser.

One of my favorite products, EVER. Sometimes, I used to skip makeup just because I knew I wouldn't want to mess with washing my face or showering at the end of the night just to remove my makeup. Even after switching to oil cleansing, I sometimes feel too lazy to take off my makeup. But I know sleeping in makeup is a mortal sin, and I'd heard of a similar product months ago...so I decided to try this out!I was SKEPTICAL that a "wash cloth" lookalike would *really* remove my makeup (including black, waterproof mascara and eyeliner!). Especially without even using a cleanser, cream, oil, or soap!! Well...I was happily proven WRONG. I do wish it was bigger, and I never know which side is for cleansing and which side is for exfoliating, but I don't care. My face always comes out refreshed, clean, and happy!I wash it with Dr. Bronner's peppermint soap after each use, and toss it in the washer once a week.This thing is fantastic, and I will be ordering more for my makeup and photography clients/models, and probably as gifts for my makeup-wearing friends & family.
