This workbook has been very helpful for reinforcing my german practice. The audio exercises that you can download are very helpful for listening practice too. I like that there aren’t just lists of vocabulary, but sentences included, because I believe learning in chunks and context.

This is a workbook that delivers on its promise of comprehensive German grammar practice, with its 300+ exercises covering everything from basics to advanced concepts, and with practical sentences that can help with real-world speaking. I appreciated the answer key for self-checking and the logical progression through difficulty levels, it seemed to be a nice complement. Not exactly exciting (it's grammar after all), but relevant enough if you’re serious about working on your language skills. If you're serious about mastering German grammar beyond tourist phrases, this workbook is a good bet.

I love this workbook. You should know it is just a workbook; there is no grammar rules for examples given. I am also ordering the authors complete grammar book. I did have a question about one of the answers so I emailed the author and he answered me right away and cleared up the question. I am very impressed. I've learned a lot and improve my vocabulary just by using this workbook

I thought this was a complete workbook, covering all levels, as the book description states. This is great for beginners in A1 and A2 levels who are still learning der, die, das and who need to practice the akkusativ and dativ. It covers the genitive, verb tenses, subclauses, and more. It also includes more advanced grammar for B1 & 2 and C1 & 2 levels. If you're looking for explanations, this is not your book. This is a workbook; there are only exercises, which are ideal to reinforce what you have already learned. I also think that this would be useful course material for a German language teacher, to be used either in class or as homework.

Great intro into learning German, and how to apply and expand your knowledge, regardless of where you are starting from. Great book on how to test and improve your ability to understand German grammar complete with exercises to help you build fluency. Exercises in both English and German for listening and speaking are very helpful in learning a new language. Challenging and applicable. Highly recommend if you are wanting to learn German, or build on what you already know.

This is a very good book that allows someone to be able to learn the art of the German language. It is written with precision and is simple to understand as well. It is full of workbook exercises as well which can help someone with further understanding and being able to practice learning the language too. I highly recommend.

I have always wanted to learn German. This workbook is a perfect companion to any lessons you take. Each exercise builds on the one before it, ensuring a gradual progression in language acquisition. It is definitely better than Duolingo was.

This book is primarily a workbook without any other guidance. To a degree this is what the cover suggests, but it also gives an impression that it somehow provides a structured approach to learning German Grammar, but without the main coursebook I would suggest that's not true.

The German Grammar Workbook is an excellent resource for learners at any level. With loads of exercises and practical example sentences, it's really helped a beginner like me get started. The step-by-step approach makes learning manageable and has given me the confidence that I can get there if i keep at it little by little.
