Great watch
I really love it, great watch and the price range is amazing too, love the color and design and the fact that you don’t have to worry about connecting it to the bluetooth. Is very comfortable light weight suitable for everyday use. It accurately tracks steps, calories and sleep with a clear full touch screen and the battery life last for a long period of time. This fitness tracker watch design makes it ideal for both women and men seeking a simple, reliable, fitness watch. Is very easy to program without the hassle of having to read the manual which made it easier for me, best features is that is IP68 waterproof which is excellent. I really enjoy this watch and recommend it to anyone looking for something that will fit their needs.

Everything you need and nothing you don't. NO FRILLS in a good way with accurate time keeping.
If you're looking for just what you need and nothing you don't, then this watch is for you. It doesn't have a thousand and one unnecessary sport modes. You walk, you run, that's all most people need honestly. I don't see myself competing in a biathlon event anytime soon. The watch tracks steps, calories, and distance. That's it, along with the ability to record your exorcises and sleep. Note that this watch does not record blood oxygen or heart rate, but with the specific biometrics that you enter, the watch seems to be able to accurately track what it is designed to.The initial setup of the watch is very easy, on taking a little more info to do its job. Once the time is set, it seems to keep it accurately. The other BT based watches I had seemed to be absolutely woeful at keeping proper time without being synced constantly with the phone. This appears to be a fully serviceable timepiece. It arrived with the battery fully charged and I am only now charging it to time how long it takes. I'll update this review on the battery life when I have run it all the way down. I haven;t been able to do this yet. Just charge it on the nightstand overnight when it gets on the low side and you aren't using it. Nothing to it.It has no animations or real eye-candy. just what you need and nothing you don't. It's no-frills in the best possible way. So far, a good value for the small amount of money you pay. I love that you don't need a phone or even an app for it to work right out of the box.Just on a side note, I took a known rout for my evening walk, and putting it to the distance on Google Earth, it was accurate to .02 miles. Not bad! Once you get your height and stride data dialed in, the thing is great. You should at least give it a try. for the money, it's a reasonable gamble.

Bad Experience with Huakua Product and Amazon's Return Limit
I purchased this watch for the non-smart and non-bluetooth ability to count steps. It was difficult to maneuver through the screens so I gave up trying and used it to count steps only. It was difficult to use for reading the time, so I began to wear my watch plus the Huakua. I went to recharge it to use it again versus returning it and it would not recharge. So, I went to process a return on Amazon, but had passed the return date, losing the money I invested into the product. Very disappointed. I took much time researching looking for the right product to accomplish my list of wants. Numerous sites recommended this watch. I do not enjoy writing a bad review and wish the company well, hoping they will improve their product and others will not have this experience. I've successfully used a Fitbit and Apple watch for years, but no longer want the smart features.

At first it worked great, but the pedometer stopped working consistently after a few weeks.
Updated: The seller offered very agreeable terms to resolve the problem after my initial review. The pedometer still stops working intermittently but if you don't mind so much about that, it is fine. Very basic watch and probably good for the price point. I opted not to get a replacement but I have bumped up the star rating due to the ability to get a replacement that works. The watch seemed to work well at first. It counted steps and has a clock to keep time and I appreciated that. After about two weeks of daily wear, it has started not tracking steps. I have the sedentary alarm set for every 30 minutes and I noticed that it would go off when I was walking around and actively moving, obviously not counting steps. I have adjusted my stats to match my stride and build, I have adjusted the placement on my wrist to see if that makes a difference, also adjusting the tightness of the watch. None of those things make a difference. I have checked the description multiple times and do only what it says it should do. Still, it goes on vacation from tracking my steps for chunks of the day at least and some days, for most of the time. This defeats the purpose of having it for the pedometer! Initially, I would have rated this at 5 stars but now I am so frustrated that it doesn't consistently after just a month that I'm giving it a 2.

No internet connection
This works pretty well--not perfect. I wanted a step tracker that was not connected to the internet, but just a standalone device. You set your own date, time, gender, step length, and weight, and it tracks. It resets to zero everyday about midnight. It doesn't track every step--I find it misses a lot of my walking within the house--probably because I'm not stomping around. But it is good to give you a sense of how much activity you have done during the day. There is an internal battery that you charge with a USB connection about once a week or less. It's also helpful to have a watch so I don't have to take out my cell phone every time I want to know what time it is. There are a lot of extra functions that I don't use.
