This has a great smell, first of all. I can't get over it. I am a smell person ;) The pros to this are that it's takes away any redness or irritation, and leaves a glowing, smooth, and healthy appearance. My skin seems healthier in general. The cons to me are that I had to leave it on longer than directed to get my skin to show any effects. This didn't cause any adverse reactions for me, even when I scrubbed it off with a terry cloth, which was also against the directions. The first time I used it I followed the instructions, and didn't do a thing for my pores or a few little blackheads, which I thought would be pulled out. The way I have come to use it is applying it while taking a soak in the bath, then scrubbing off. This way may not be safe for sensitive skin. So, for the smell, even tone, and the glow that it leaves on my skin, I love it. And it's a cool dark blackish blue color ;) A side note is that I have one spot on my face that is an old divet/hole/pock mark from picking at my face (it's a disorder I have). It really seems to be smoothing that out after about 3 or 4 days of use.

I have never used any kind of mask before, so I have nothing to compare it to, but I quite like this mask. It goes on smoothly, and I have never had any kind of burning or itching sensations. I usually leave it on for 10-15 minutes before I take a shower and then rinse in the shower. I use it anywhere from 1 to 3 times a week, and I have had no adverse reactions to it. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because while it certainly helps my face stay clearer, I still have blemishes and acne -- my skin is not "stunningly" different ... but my face is improved, and for that I am thankful. I'm pleased with this product, will probably use it again in the future, and gladly recommend it to others.

UPDATE: still feel the same, just FYI, did not have an effect on the cyclic acne. Everything else has improved so I'm still happy.This stuff really really works. Saw in reviews that some people use daily or every other night, so I've been using every other day to 3 days, and my skin has honestly never looked better! I was skeptical d/t the fact that I have terrible skin; oily skin, large pores, cystic acne on jawline, typical breakouts on cheeks and the horrible acne scars. Took about 4th time for me to really notice a difference. My skin is now brighter, scars seriously look smaller! Wow!!! This product to me is wondrous. My skin looks more supple, clean, and has become a bit pless oily. You'll notice the improvement on your skin from the increase of circulation.Super happy, thank you!

Look, being originally from israel, nothing can be as good as the mud we would get straight out from the ground. As kids, the mud was free, you just dig and put it on yourself. I guess at some point they realized that this mud is a gold mine and they started marketing it and selling it. These days, when you go to the Dead Sea, the mud is no longer there to just grab and use. Things changed but it was to be expected. Being from israel and going to the Dead Sea many many times, I can tell you for a fact, that the mud, and the actual water of the Dead Sea, are amazing in a way that I cannot describe. You have to be there to know. But, It's great that we can get the mud and the salt on Amazon today, without really having to go to the Dead Sea, and that stuff is really good, though, nothing will ever be as good as going to the actual source. I had skin problems that four skin doctors couldn't solve for years, so did my children. And then, one visit to the Dead Sea , and all of ours skin problems, that lasted for years, were gone forever. My kids suffered from reoccurring skin rashes that would drive them crazy, and even the best cortisone creams couldn't help. I took them to visit my family in israel, and we drove to the Dead Sea. Yes, it burnet like hell for 24 hours, but the rashes are gone now, completely gone, and that was five years ago. I'm not saying that these products will ever be like going to the source , but they are excellent !!! I should know !!

I've been using this 2-3 times a week for about a month now. I definitely hesitated because it seemed like everyone and their mom got this for free to write a review. I wouldn't say there is anything bad about this product. It smells great. It goes on well. It feels nice when its on. The bottle says to put a hot towel on your face for a few minutes to help take it off, while I don't think thats necessary for taking it off at all, it is a nice spa-like experience to have to do that. However, I also don't think this mask really does anything. It didn't get rid of my blemishes. It didn't prevent blemishes. It didn't get rid of my blackheads. It really didn't make any difference at all in my skin - good or bad. I am probably just going to stick to my mint julep mask from CVS. I think it's a fun thing to use for taking pictures on a girls night in or sleepover though.

I really like this mud mask! I have acne prone sensitive skin and this does not irritate my skin at all. It's very gentle and doesn't itch or burn. You only need a little bit and it goes on so creamy, I don't even know how to describe it, but it is so easy to apply an even layer quickly. It doesn't clump or drip or anything I've experienced with other masks. It seems to do what it claims and clean out pores and exfoliate. I don't know how it works since it's not a scrub or acid, but since I started using it I no longer have the dry patches of skin that my mineral makeup would stick to. It's not a miracle and it does take time to clean out your pores, little by little each time you use it. It rinses away pretty easily rather than pealing off and damaging your skin. It does not leave black residue inside my pores, like a charcoal mask I tried did. It also does not leave my face bright red, like a bentonite clay mask I tried, so I can use it in the morning before I go out. Overall, I like it and will continue to use it a couple times a week until my pores are all unclogged, then probably just once a week or so after that for maintenance. I would buy it again and recommend it to others.
