Very good salami. It's hard to find a beef salami without any pork. I really liked it and will definitely buy it again.

The beef salami tastes good. The circular size is a little small. The texture is smooth, but a little tough for chewing. I like to make sandwiches with it.

I grew up enjoying the delicious taste of Hard Salami. However, as an adult, I no longer eat products that are pork based or mixed with pork and had to give it up. Unfortunately, all the hard Salamis that you find in your local supermarkets are all mixed with pork. After a lot of searching around, I discovered Alef Natural Authentic Beef Dry Salami. After tasting this product, I knew it was a God send. It's delicious and exactly mimics the hard salami that I grew up with. My only drawback with this product is that the cuts are in the size of pepperoni slices rather than deli sandwich meat. However, I am so happy to have access to this product that I find it a minor issue to everything else that it has to offer.

Not excessively salty (some saltiness has to be there, to preserve the product!) No nitrites apparently. A treat for people who prefer beef or turkey to the ubiquitous pork products. A worthy protein snack, nourishing on few calories. As processed meats go, this is as close to healthy as it is possible. Nicely and safely packaged, cut in sensible portions to be enjoyed properly, quickly shipped. I will order this again. A thumbs-up also for their beyond dedicated customer service. Tasted great, what I was looking for, holy cow expensive for the package

Where I live, I find it very difficult to find really fine hard salami. The stuff in supermarkets is either soft like baloney and largely uncured, or it's the Italian style (which I don't like very much). If you like Vienna brand hard salami for example, but can't get it, this is a great option. Wow, this stuff is high quality. I have a very volatile digestive system, and this stuff hits the spot and never upsets me...indicating that it is perfectly well-cured and wholesome. For the hard salami aficionado...it's the real thing.
