ASRock ATX Motherboard (B450 PRO4)

Overall happy customer. Running a Ryzen 3700x with 3600MHz C16 Ram out of the box with the XMP profile. No BIOS update was required. Setting the RAM timings manually was unsuccessful and I had to clear CMOS. I used XMP and it worked first time. Decent IO, VRM's are supposed to be 'okay' compared to the other low end b450 boards. £75 paid, can't really argue. Spending a bit more would get you better connectivity, VRMs and flashing lights but this will do fine for system builders on a budget.

Sweet MB, not OC but I'm doing that tomorrow. It didnt come with any screws to mount it and it's a USA sold model but it works fine and the bios is very nice in the new layout compeared to my old one. Multiplier is easy and the added boot options are nice to haves. The quick boot option is nice as well.

Outstanding Support form ASRock. System is super stable with BIOS 5.10 and using Ryzen 5 3600X with Corsair 3200 DRAM.

Not straightforward, initiial problems. There probably are better motherboards than this. Should have been cheaper as it is not as good as I thought it would be.

Lo primero. Tuve una duda, y el vendedor contesto muy rápido al igual que el envío fue rapidísimo, 1 día le costó. La placa base: Esta vez, quería una ASRock, aunque había una Gigabyte que me gustaba mucho. Lo que decanto, mi decisión fue que la ASRock tenía el puerto M.2 entre el CPU y el puerto PCI-E y no, debajo del puerto PCI-E donde se iba a quedar encajonado por la P.B. el puerto PCI-E y la gráfica tirándole aire caliente, que era lo que pasaría si cogía la Gigabyte. Otra cosa que me gustó de la ASRock, era que contaba con puerto USB 3.1 tipo C y que las VRM contaban con buena disposición. Ahora bien, la P.B. es genial, pero le veo una pega. A los Ryzen 2600 los ponen muy bien y más por qué se les puede hacer O.C. y se quedan cerca del 2600X, pues esta P.B. parece que carece de opciones para hacer un O.C. dinámico y que se adapte. Si se puede subir la frecuencia pero se que daría bloqueada a esa frecuencia y no bajaría o subiría adaptándose a las necesidades de la carga de trabajo. Y es algo que no me ha gustado ni lo más mínimo. Y es que ahora el CPU va muy sobrado, pero en un par de años, me gustaría sacarle todo el jugo hasta que tenga que cambiarlo como hice con FX 8320 que aún está en funcionando, pero ahora es otra persona la que lo usa (Mala fama los FX y lo que se quiera decir, pero ahí está dándolo todo). Así que para dentro de dos años, me veo que voy a estar igual que ahora y no soy de las personas que se cambia el equipo cada dos años y el FX con P.B. Gigabyte, me mal acostumbraron, a poder exprimir el equipo al máximo sin ninguna pega. Conclusión: Si quieres una P.B. con buenas capacidades de Expansión y conectabilidad, es muy buena opción. Si quieres hacerle O.C. en algún momento, no te la recomendaría (solo mire por encima lo de O.C. ya que no tiene 2años la P.B. pero no vi ninguna opción que me haga cambiar la opinión a fecha de hoy, en dos años ya se verá). PD: Producto "Reacondicionado" la caja estaba machacada, todo lo demás parecía nuevo, hasta la chapa trasera estaba precintada en su bolsita. Volvería a comprar a este vendedor un producto "Reacondicionado" sin ninguna pega.
