Awesome food
PROS: 1. TASTE: I wasnโt sure if my guppies were going to like the food right away, but they went crazy for it! 2. INGREDIENTS : Iโve never seen a fish food that has such quality ingredients. Even the brands that are recommended the most, like Hikari, have an ingredient list that is garbage. 3. DOESNโT DISSOLVE : I REALLY love that the granules hold their shape and donโt melt away in the water- when I was feeding the typical flake food, as I would crumple the flakes to make smaller pieces for my guppyโs tiny mouths, there would always be a good portion that ended up as super small powder/dust like pieces and were too fine to be eaten. It would end up coating the floor and dirtying the tank quickly. But these granules stay together even after being in the water for a significant time- they donโt dissolve into muck that I need to clean out. 5. SIZE: The granules are also the perfect size for my tiny guppy mouths! Even some of the babies that were a week or two old were able to eat the granules CONS: There were only two minor things that werenโt perfect about the food.. 1. The design of the inner part of the cap (the part that has the holes that the food comes through) isnโt the easiest to deal with. All the holes are closed- I had to use scissors to poke them open. I thought it would be like a spice jar- where you twist and you can do small holes or change to larger hole. Thatโs how it looked initially, but after opening, I realized thereโs no โtwistโ mechanism. Itโs just a stable cap with holes that you punch yourself. Not a huge deal, but I wanted to mention it. 2. The granules sink fairly quickly. The bottle says โfloating typeโ but when you shake the food out, about 1/3 sinks IMMEDIATELY. The remaining 2/3 floats temporarily, but after mere SECONDS, pieces start sinking. I did a test by shaking some into a water glass, so I could see how long it took all the granules to sink (without fish interference) and 90% had sunk by the 30 second mark. BUT, since the granules stay whole and donโt melt away, itโs really easy for the fish to spot them on the floor and eat them up quickly, so the sinking issue doesnโt upset me too much. Overall, Iโm extremely pleased with this food, and will DEFINITELY continue to purchase. Switching from flake food to Royal Guppy has made my tank cleaner, and judging from the ingredient list, Iโm sure my fish are much healthier too :) If youโre not sure about it, just give it a try! I think youโll be pleasantly surprised

Fisg food
My fish love this food, and it does not cloud the water. The price and how you dispense the food is easyโฆ

Fancy guppies go bananas for this!
Surprising how much my daughter's fancy guppies love this feed. Previously, they would leave so much flake food floating and eventually dropping to the bottom of the tank, uneaten. But they swarm this food like magic (they are pellets, but small enough to pass through the salt-dispenser top). I'm amazed by how much of a difference this food makes.

My guppies like it
The lid comes with a pull strip so the product is sealed and tamper resistant. Inside the cap is a sprinkle filter like you see on cooking spices and herbs. One of the holes was open already, and that's all I need. I think if you open others, you will risk putting too much product in your tank and overfeeding. That could cause problems for your cycle and harm your water parameters. I wouldn't really characterize the food as pellets, but more like very tiny grains or flakes. As others have commented, some of the food sinks but most of it floats. My guppies eat it right up though my neons and lampeyes prefer the dropping pieces. I recommend feeding more than one kind of food for a well-rounded diet. My guppies get flakes in addition to these "pellets" on a rotating basis, with occasional daphnia, brine shrimp, and blood worm pieces mixed in as treats. My fish are strong and healthy with no signs of illness or bloat after eating this food. I would (and will) buy it again!

Very small food
Don't know personally. My fish seem to like it a lot. Care needed when feeding due to size of food you need to take care as it can come out fast.
