Riverside WoodcraftSquirrel Feeder With Anti Bacteria Coating

A really great squirrel feeder. It is not too heavy for squirrels to lift. We put it out and waited till the first squirrel arrived, he figured it out in about 5 minutes and once they do, that's it - they know how to get their nuts.More thought could be put in the design as some squirrels while figuring it out damage it. A metal lining could be added where they open the lid as some of them did it with teeth to begin with and it looks like someone munched on the feeder itself as it has bite marks :)But overall I'm pleased (and so are the squirrels) as we got it 2 months ago and the only damage on it is from the very beginning whilst the squirrels were figuring it out.

This Squirell feeder is great very strong well made. Just a couple of things could be improved firstly we had to sort the glass front so other birds cannot force it open. It would hander if it had a inner sleeve to lift out the nuts to clean it, as the nuts go mouldy if left too long. Looks great hanging on our fence I hope the Squirell keeps coming and using it I love watching it open the top to get the nuts out beautiful to watch I could watch it all day if I could.

The media could not be loaded.  The feeder is sturdy and I expect it to last well. We experienced good customer service as we experienced issues with the delivery (Royal Mail's fault, not the vendor) and they organized re-delivery of the item for us. It only seems to stop the assaults on the bird feeder when the squirrel feeder is full. My problem now is that the two squirrels who come into our garden every day get through the food so quickly I'm going to have to start rationing it!

We love these and now have 3 in the garden. At the summer peak last year, 7 of our squirrel family were seen queuing up for their outdoor restaurant!The only downside is they need replacements every couple of years as the wood swells and contracts with the weather, then the Perspex window comes loose which the crows like, but we don’t!Have just got 2 new ones although the lid on one is really stiff so might need a bit of squirrel friendly WD40 on it.

Works really well - and despite reading advice to the contrary I have placed it fairly near my bird feeders - the squirrels no longer interfere with the bird food and harmony in my garden is restored ! Squirrels started using the feeder within 24 hours of putting it up. The lid was a tad stiff and heavy to start with but I worked it looser with some oil and a bit of tweeking of the hinges/lid.

This is a magnificent purpose built aperatus for the perfect squirrel dining experience. As a voyeur of Squirrel inquisitiveness and certified Squirrel Wrangler, it was essential that the culinary squirrel acquisition had sufficient dry storage space for the abundance of nuts. Furthermore, there was to me sufficient challenge to our resident squirrel ‘Gideon’ to have to raise the flap and gain access to his dietary requirements.The feeding platform should not be overlooked as it is onto this element that Gideon launches his commencement of his feasting and remains there to feed upon the bounty of his dexterous assault.Also, the feeder has a little hole for a screw to fix it to the balustrade.

Squirrels adore these feeders and give us hours of pleasure watching them. I have had to make adjustments to both lids of the two boxes we bought as they were too stiff for them to get into. Perhaps more attention could be paid to this area before they are sent to customers.

The sellar did not state at any point that the polycarbonate window is NOT removable, all the boxes I have have slide out windows for cleaning inside box and window , this is a must
