Do not stack them on the Explorer itself.

Do not buy from Jackery. Their warranty is worthless. I purchased a Jackery Explorer 5000 Plus solar generator from them. The product is good, but a high PV port plug soon broke (bad design). To their credit, Jackery offered a warranty replacement, but in 2 months of back & forth, Jackery has not provided the proper packaging and shipping labels to actually make a return possible; in other words, a worthless warranty on a very expensive piece of equipment.

Works as expected with my Jackery 5000 plus

I bought this as part of a setup to do mobile polishing with my jooltool. It is perfect. It holds a charge for the whole day. I really can't say how long it took me to charge it the first time because I plugged it in and left it for awhile. The 250 only has 1 110 plug which is perfect for my needs. However because it is hot right now, I am going to need to run a little fan and will probably get a USB one. It is very lightweight and easy to carry. I did buy the case for it which I will comment on in that product. I couldn't be happier!

I bought this unit with the STS and 500x panels. The panels are nice and the STS seems to work, but the e5000 will drop power repeatedly when you place the whole system on backup mode under light to moderate loads. Putting the system on UPS mode seems to help but then the house lights flicker and the unit drains power drastically as the software cycles between the e5000 and the grid until the battery is dead for some reason. I contacted their support, and after two weeks with repeated statements from them that someone from their engineering team will contact me, nothing has happened. If you're looking at this as a comprehensive home backup that can do TOU export like its competitors, I'd be extremely wary. There seems to be several issues and no one available to help assist or trouble shoot. Will likely be pursuing a full refund. UPDATE:About a week after this initial review, jackery pushed a firmware update to my STS and everything seems to be working as intended.
