Weleda Baby Calendula Nappy Change Cream 75ml

When I was going to have my first child, I asked my colleagues at work if they had any advice they wish they'd had when they had their own children, and one person immediately told me about this diaper cream. It took me a little while to get it, so I used many many other brands before then, but this stuff is THE BOMB. I only use this now. Clears up any rash in between 2 diaper changes, and if I put this on preventatively (after a bath, say), I NEVER see a rash. It also smells good.Every once in a while, my 5-year-old, who was that first child, says his bum itches or something and he asks me to put this cream on him. He says it works instantly. Now I give a tube of this to anyone I know who is having a baby.

We live in a humid climate and our newborn had AWFUL diaper rash. We are talking open, bleeding sores. I tried every cream/combination I could find, Desitin (max strength and creamy), Boudreaux's Butt Paste, Vaseline, etc. Nothing was working. We had a couple people recommend Weleda. When I finally switched it cleared up the rash. It wasn't gone overnight, but it definitely stopped it from getting worse right away and then cleared it up over a few weeks' time. I cannot recommend this stuff enough (don't let the high price deter you - a happy baby is SO worth it!)My tips if your baby has a really bad rash:1. Use ONLY this cream -do not combine it with anything else. (we tried that and it didn't work as well)2. Clean baby's bum with water only (even the most "sensitive" wipes sting) use the sink, or keep a cup of water and soft swabs at changing table3. AIR out bum as much as possible. Invest in some dishtowels and let baby hang out naked from waist down (nursing is an ideal time for this since baby is holding still, with bum to the side air anyway)Good luck!

So far out of the tens of diaper creams I've tried, this one wins. It has a great consistency to smooth onto baby's skin, smells organic and delicious, and keeps rashes away. I even put this on my baby's neck folds and under arm folds if it starts getting pink or irritated from moisture and within the day the redness will be completely gone! I wish I would have figured out this secret from day one! Highly recommend.

The diaper cream is excellent and the best I've come across, so 5 stars. HOWEVER please BE AWARE of what you're ordering as I got duped. As of today, under 'Product Details - Product Dimensions' it states this is 3.8oz. IT IS NOT! It is the standard 2.8oz size so I just paid more for nothing. But you can get other items that are just as effective for less money. Having said that, we have so far been blessed with no diaper rash issues. Whether or not it helped prevent rash, we'll never know. One bone to pick about this product... The container is a metal tubing which not only makes it difficult to get the cream out when you're running low, it also cracks when it's been bent so often while trying to get the cream out. In addition, because the tubing is metal, it stays cold so it's not nice to use during the colder months.

Love this stuff! This is the only cream that I have found that will heal a diaper in less than a day! If applied to my son before bed, his diaper rash is cleared up by morning!! Weleda is truly amazing stuff. Just wish I would've known about this before baby #4.
