Pros and cons
EDITED PLEASE NOTE.. Edit. I pocked this cam as it said "NO CONTRACT". However I find it is just as bad as "Clickbait". You can only record 6 seconds of video UNLESS you buy into the cloud. Oooh you have a huge SD card you have to buy to insert memory in cameras but noooo. Not good enough, have to juy into CLOUD . I saw an AI intelligence option you could also BUY INTO. . That cost aprox £11 uk sterling. Like an idiot I bought it 3 times 1 for each camera. As it seemed to only supply one. THEN I find out "Apparently " you can use on more than 1 camera. I got in touch with sellers. Or the INTELLIGENCE RESPONDER No real reply. THEN ????? I noticed I had been credited with NO AI ???? So yes of course I did what I could to make contact,I was then told provide SN of cameras snd proof of purchase of AI . Lucky I bought with PayPal, so I feel always covered then. However I found 1 cam had it and by hitting buttons ? I managed to get back on all 3 cams again. ( just don't ask ). So THIS AI ? It is supposed to identify people, cars coming and going, pets, parcels ( watching them I guess). Also a beta version of "wild animals" and "birds". Hmmm yes OK. Well it doesn't recognise people. Granted it knows human beings, occasionally a dog as a pet. But that's it. I left in my car 3 times. My car is inside my "watch area" I waved like crazy. I shouted. Yet NOTHING CAME UP ON MY CAMS . Yet people walk past my front door where you just see the tip of their head. On (as I said) tge 6 second video. I get a "Front cam WARNING, or TIP, for motion detection ". Took ages to get rid of "junk triggers" but now shows no activity at all. My "Door cam" I have set for anyone who comes to door . Nope that doesn't do it either. I have one left to put up out back now. Then I have to go back into programing side of it , wipe them all from my WiFi and put ehem back on as lower value, I have one already on my WiFi gizmo that does 2.5 or whatever it is. . Worse thing is I can't just get them up on my pc and watch or record st my leasure. Also. Only work on my phone NOT my android tablet. I coming close to throwing these 8n bin and going for some with better feedback. (Or feedback left after a longer time). This update is about 1 momth plus of using (unsatisfactory) That's it. The pros and cons. Pros. Excellent picture. So clear. Easy to set up ??? Well the 1 button way ? Yes. Tha cons. ?? It says should be placed at aprox 3 mtrs up. That means I have to get ladder out to recharge batteries. Only run at 50% before recharging. This means I have to get ladder out to charge again. WHY can one not hook up to charger and leave plugged in ? My only sadness about buying this cam ? I didn't buy the 2 pack. I will try and hook up a charger permanently and turn off till needs recharging as I am disabled. OR perhaps I shall look into the solar power. I HAVE ordered another one for back of my flat now. Something else I noticed (And so glad I haven't had it wall mounted yet) I was scrolling through app and settings. I noticed it said "MIC NOT ON. Go here , do that ,to turn back on". NOPE that didn't work. Now it says (after studying further) " reset camera etc" . I will do that another time.

UPDATE, not a good camera anymore after a few months.
(Aug 2025) Its very useful - it does take a while to get it going trying to figure it out. Once sorted, it's fabulous thing to use. The camera is clear )sometime a little glitchy which only lasts a few seconds) night vision is good. Motion detection is a tad annoying, but you can adjust the sensitivity of it, the notification is a bit much when you have 2 doing off for same video (Tip and Alert.. They need to give us option to remove TIP in the setting, why need that when you'd get Alert anyways?). Still a nice cheap camera for me. UPDATE (Nov 2025) Now the camera's motion detection isnt working well as it should, it doesnt pick up a lot - I've missed so many events. I've checked Cloud and History section - nothing, I even adjust sensitivety of it, it made no difference. So no, the camera motion dection is rubbish now. I'll be looking for a better one in very near future. 4 stars now down to 1.

Not necessarily free of monthly fees
After what I think was a software update, this camera started to require a subscription for the more advanced object-recognition settings. I bought this camera on the understanding that it required no subscription. Feels unfair that the manufacturer are now requiring money. Disappointed

Highly recommend
Excellent little camera, picture quality is really good. Very easy to set up. Excellent for keeping an eye on my dog while I’m out. Also has a microphone. Battery lasts a long time. We also keep one outside in all weathers for security. Highly recommend
