Perfect size for meal prep
I love the size of these as I can use them in so many ways. They're good snack size, meal prep size, and I even keep one on my food scale to weigh things quickly. I'd buy more but they last a long time and I'd prolly never get around to using it

If you are crazy about left over storage you need these!
Did you ever want to have a complete collection of plastic food containers that stack well, and all use the same lid? Well I never really had that problem. But someone I live with does. And he is in fact so crazy about having a certain size (24 oz) container, that when we tried to give away left overs at Thanksgiving, he made a big stink about which ones we let leave the house. I recently found that part of the problem was that for some reason, these particular containers had started to be hard to find in the local stores. Well, as I am an Amazon prime member, I decided to see if we could build up our supply of these specific containers, with the blue lids on line. It seemed like a perfect solution. Just get them delivered. So I ordered the bulk pack! That's right, 6 packages of 5 containers and lids. A complete set of 30 containers. You can not believe the joy they brought when they arrived. It seems like we will never be short of 24 oz glad ware containers for a long time. The problem is, that the rationing has not ended. Most of the new containers are stored in the basement pantry. Not in the kitchen. So I am concerned that issue my be bigger than hard to find containers. I am concerned that there may be a bit of a hoarding issue. But the bottom line is, these containers will stay sealed even when inverted. They nest nicely for storage, and they also stack nicely in the refrigerator, and they fit easily in most lunch boxes. Even a child's lunchbox. The bottom line is that if you use plastic containers to store leftovers, or for lunches, and want to be able to occasionally give some away without causing anyone to get upset about the fact that the container might never come back home, then buy this bulk pack. It is a value, and a fantastic product.

I'm partial to glass, but...
My glass storage-ware ("Glasslock") supposedly has no harmful chemicals that can be released into food, unlike plastic. I don't trust even BPA-free plastic because BPA is only one dangerous chemical identified in plastic, and supposedly, there are more. I wish I could afford to use only glass, but cannot, particularly for freezing leftovers, when our freezer is so packed that it projectile-vomits whenever it is opened, sending containers and packages everywhere. (Yes. I have a food disorder. My mother literally starved us so she could use the grocery allowance to travel. So I have issues; I don't want my family to starve, and I love to cook. So there.) When these come flying out of the freezer, they inevitably crack, but I'm not heartbroken, as I would be if they were my expensive glass. The sizes offered are great; I use the small (8 oz.) round ones for freezing small portions like pesto. The larger ones, for big batches of soup, etc., and the medium-sized ones for smaller portions. I like the square and rectangular-shaped ones because they save space and are easy to stack (projectile-vomiting notwithstanding). However, because I'm fearful of chemicals in the plastic, I really only use these for freezing, (though I'd use them for dry-goods as well if I didn't already have an assortment of nice large containers for my pantry). I would NEVER use these in a microwave. 1 out of 3 people get cancer. The reason(s) are not necessarily known. So why push it with chemicals that we don't know about, but do know that they leach into our food when heated? That's why we're urged not to microwave with plastic-wrap over food, or bleached paper towels. So why should these be any different? If I could afford to have everything stored in glass, I would. But that's quite expensive, so not an option. For my purposes, they are nicely-sized, and of good construction and weight. But I use them with caution and common sense.

Inexpensive and useful!
I've used these Glad containers for probably 10 years. I use them for leftovers, for sending food to friends' houses, for kids' snacks, for holding paint when I'm painting trim, and for keeping hardware like screws and nuts contained in one place. We've also used them over the years to keep grasshoppers, toads, and various other small animals and tadpoles long enough to admire them before releasing them. I've used them for putting out water for the cats when their bowl has frozen over, and I've used them as a scoop in a big bag of bird seed. They're the perfect size for so many jobs, and if they break or get stained I'm not upset. The bowls themselves are rectangular and hold 2-3 (up to 24 ounces) cups of whatever. They are thicker than the plastic bowls you get with lunchmeat at the store. They wash well and don't get brittle with age. The lids are a little more fragile, but I hand wash them and air dry them in the dish drainer so the heat of the dishwasher doesn't destroy them. This 30-pack of bowls and lids is a great value. With free SuperSaver shipping (on orders over $25) they are .89 cents each. If you get them through Subscribe & Save you'll get the free shipping and the price drops to .76 cents each.I can't imagine our household without these great little bowls!

Excellent little set
Bought this for my lunches and my husband ended up using them for leftovers because they are really a perfect size for just under medium. We ended up giving some away with left overs from a family dinner and I'll be buying more of them!

Solid reliable product we use a lot
We have been using these for years. I bought more of the same so the new would stack with the old when not in use. Over time the lids tear - usually at the opening flap. If you reheat fatty material in the microwave it can distort or pock-mark the base - better to transfer to glass or earthenware if you are going to use higher temperatures.
