Sitting on the floor because the controller cords wouldn't reach the couch, playing it on a 19" or maybe the big tv in the living room. Those days are gone just like blowing into the cartridge to get the game to work. We immediately downloaded Mario Kart and were off to the races, playing cordlessly on a 65" tv. The graphics are beautiful, sound is awesome. We added $$ to our online account and purchased a bunch of inexpensive games like skeeball, bowling, Wii sports. Loads of fun. Did I mention that I'm 60 years old. And Disney Speedstorm is excellent.

Works as expected. No problems with it being a Japanese model when playing in the US.

It’s hard to know if you will truly like the Nintendo Switch if you never tried one. If you grew up playing Nintendo games, then you’ll love the Switch. This review may be a bit long winded for some. So for TLDR – If this is your 1st Switch, get the Switch OLED as it’s better in every way. If you want a Switch and are on a budget, then get this bundle if you can. It comes in stock every so often on Amazon. My son begged me to buy him a Switch last year and I caved and bought him the Switch OLED. I thought the Switch was a gimmick but I was wrong and got hooked. I kept hogging his Switch and realized I needed my own Switch. I bought the Switch Lite since it was cheaper and I mostly play in handheld mode. Well….. 5 months later and I bought this bundle. While the Switch Lite is a great “console” it lacks everything that makes the Switch a Switch. Since we own all 3 Switch now, I can say without a doubt the best Switch is the Switch OLED. The screen is bigger and more vibrant, the kickstand is far superior, and the speaker is louder and sounds slightly better. The Switch OLED will give you the best experience but it is the most expensive. If you’re on a budget, then this bundle is the best one to get. For the price of the normal Switch, you get a digital copy of Mario Kart 8 and Nintendo Online (for 3 months) for “free”. That’s (retail price) of $67.98 saving!! The “free” Mario Kart 8 game is a digital copy. This bundle will have a paper insert with the code that you’ll use to “redeem” via your Nintendo Account to get the game. It can seem a bit daunting if you’re not use to the process. I didn’t find it too difficult but I’m very tech savvy. It will be the same process if you bought the Digital Game Card in the store. So is this Switch worth it..... to me.... yes. This bundle is the best price for what you get. Just a note, this Switch is the Switch with the better battery life.

My kids love this! It’s controls are a little hard to master at first, but it keeps them active during screen time so it’s a win-win!

Hours of yelling, I mean entertaining. Be sure to get extra controllers. Very durable, I have seen that thing get thrown at my son's head (by my daughter) and bounce off the wall unharmed. Good quality. Tons of fun!

Espere unos días para poder probar la consola antes de escribir una reseña. Y solo puedo decir que todo perfecto! El paquete llegó en excelentes condiciones aunque no traía protección extra o plástico burbuja llegó adentro de una caja de Amazon. Pero aún así llegó todo bien. La caja de la consola tenía el sello abierto, pero me imagino que la abrieron para cambiar el cargador, porque la consola es japonesa y me llegó un cargador normal de los que usamos aquí en Mx. Lo cual agradezco bastante! La consola es japonesa, pero no tiene restricciones de región entonces puedes ponerle tu cuenta mexicana y acceder a la eshop de tu región, todo sin problemas ya compré varios juegos y funciona perfecto. La batería dura bastante no he tenido ningun problema de mal funcionamiento o de alguna otra cosa hasta el momento. En fin solo puedo decir compren con confianza, no pasa nada que sea japonesa, al configurar la consola eligen el idioma y le ponen su cuenta de mx y todo bien, además es mucho más barato comprarla japonesa jeje y no hay ninguna diferencia salvo los manuales y la caja que vienen en idioma japonés, aah y el cargador pero como ya mencioné en mi caso me mandaron uno versión nacional Mx. Así que conclusión todo excelente me encantó! Y a un excelente precio!

La consola viene bien, pero no está el link para descargar el juego, ayuda! ¿Que puedo hacer?

Siendo usuario de PC, es una experiencia muy distinta. Traerla contigo a cualquier lugar y poder jugar mientras te mueves es genial! Por supuesto que no tiene la capacidad gráfica de un PS5, Xbox o una PC, pero no es lo que debes de buscar en una nintendo switch. La consola es increíble y si te gustan los juegos de nintendo es una gran opción para divertirse. Personalmente la compre por su versatilidad en los tres modos de uso, y para jugar con familiares o amigos y poder disfrutar los clásicos de Nintendo. Los juegos son ridículamente caros, eso si. Especialmente si como yo, vienes de ecosistemas como el de PC en el que encuentras excelentes títulos a precios MUY reducidos. Acá es todo lo contrario. Sin contar con que hay que comprar múltiples complementos para hacer tu experiencia con esta consola un poco mejor. Por ejemplo: el estuche para transportarlo, un control para jugar en TV mode, joycons adicionales, memoria micro SD, protector de pantalla y los JUEGOS. Precios MUY exagerados para estos últimos. Sinceramente creo que si eres una persona que ama los títulos de nintendo, o un gamer esporádico que busca una experiencia de juego rápida, móvil y sencilla, el switch es una consola muy divertida y que vale la pena comprar para divertirse con amigos y familia. Y es perfecta para ese uso, -como nintendo siempre lo ha promocionado-. Pero si eres un amante y entusiasta de los videojuegos, el switch es más como un complemento. Los grandes títulos con gráficos exigentes y altos rendimientos no están hechos para esta consola. No es la experiencia que se debe de buscar con una switch. Si bien, hay ciertos títulos que originalmente fueron hechos para otras consolas y hoy puedes correr en switch, yo la recomiendo únicamente para jugar los títulos exclusivos de nintendo, pues la experiencia con esta consola jugando títulos muy exigentes puede no ser la mejor. Si verdaderamente eres un entusiasta y estas considerando la switch como opción, primero compra otra consola y después considera el switch. Si, si se puede jugar títulos como Skyrim, Overwatch o Crysis en la Switch, sin embargo yo soy mas de la idea de dejar eso para consolas más capaces y jugar los increíbles títulos de Pokemon, Zelda y Mario en esta divertida consolita que puedes disfrutar con todo mundo.
