Delicious natural tasting assorted flavors...can't believe it's sugar-free...VERY soft & sticky!
I was lucky to receive my assorted bag with only few pieces with escaping bits of taffy stuck to other wrapped pieces. THIS IS VERY SOFT (but delicious) TAFFY! I would never order this during late spring through summer. I can imagine from photos the messes some customers received due to melting taffy oozing out of their wrappers making a complete mess of the lot. This is very soft & sticky taffy, initially, unwrapping a piece can be a challenge. I'd not hesitate to store the bag in the fridge. Overall, I'd give it a 5 but due to the few pieces that did escape their wrappers, I give it 4. Definitely a 5 or 5+ for the flavors and deliciousness of the candy. I would never know these are sugar free. They taste like regular salt water taffy made with sugars. These are rather addictive. MAKE SURE TO KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANY SENSITIVITY TO THE SUGAR ALCOHOL MALTITOL...side effects may be gastrointestinal discomfort, including bloating, gas, and diarrhea. This occurs when maltitol is consumed in large quantities (over 40 grams per day). Too bad they do not make note of this on the bag with listing of ingredients. CAUTION! These are so tasty it is very easy to eat too many at one time....I did just that & paid the price! I definitely am not only sensitive to the sugar alcohol sweetener SORBITOL, I am also VERY sensitive to the sugar alcohol sweetener in these S.W. Taffies, MALTITOL!! The only sugar alcohol I seem to tolerate is Birch Xylitol. After an hour or so after eating 8-10 of these I became violently ill with the worst upper & progressively lower excruciating cramps, bloating & trapped gas. I was in horrible pain for several hours. THERE ARE NO WARNINGS ON THE BAG ABOUT POSSIBLE ADVERSE EFFECTS OF MALTITOL, ONLY SAYS A SERVING IS 4 PIECES OF TAFFY! Do be very careful eating these, especially with children & elderly. I spent an entire day & night in bed after the ordeal. Worst upper & lower GI cramps, pain & bloating I've ever experienced. I also just discovered that Maltitol is also often used as a "plasticizing" agent in making supplement capsules (vitamins, meds etc.). Sadly, will not buy these again.

Best SF Candy I’ve Tried
Best sugar free candy I’ve ever had. Flavor is strong, no aftertaste. Consistency of traditional taffy. Will definitely be buying again.

Quite Good.
Very Good Especially For Sugar Free. I tried some others, but this one seems the most like real old-fashioned taffy. One nice surprise is that one of the flavors is licorice! It’s a surprise because it doesn’t look like licorice in terms of the color. Quite good-tasting.

These were complete goo and melted to the wax paper when we got them. The only way to get any of it was to scrape some of the ooze with your teeth but you have to be ready to deal with the mouthful of shredded wax paper that comes with it. Too bad, because the few that I ate before I finally decided to trash them actually tasted pretty good.
