Granite Mortar and Pestle Set 2 Cup

I love this set! It’s very nice! Great for the herb lover in your life. Perfect size for herbs - not big enough for guacamole but perfect for blending spices, herbs, etc.I write reviews in exchange for products. My reviews are honest and represent my experience with the product. YMMV of course. Also, as a vine member I am NOT PAID for my reviews.⭐️ - no! Stay far away! Broken, dangerous, damaged, etc⭐️⭐️ - don’t waste your money this product has/had some kind of flaw or is way overpriced. Look for another item.⭐️⭐️⭐️ - average product. It works but it’s not great BUT also not bad either⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - great buy, works well and no real issues or flaws⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - perfect, yes! Get this brand of this item! You won’t regret it!

This appears to be a nice size mortar and pestle set, which from my research is pretty much at the bottom end of the scale for size. They make smaller ones but they won’t do as good a job. This one was left rather rough and has pretty aggressive ridges in the bowl that will take a lot of work to smooth down before it can be used.I’m also not too impressed with the type of stone used as this rock seems to have a lot of crystalline structure in it and I’m afraid some of that may flake off leaving glass like shards in my food stuffs. Not something one would want moving through their digestive tract.It will take me a while to get the mortar smoothed down and seasoned before I will be using it in my kitchen, but I will come back later and post an update if I decide its not worth using due to safety concerns. For now all I can suggest is for you to weight your options and decide for yourself if one of these are right for you.

it's been my displeasure to be writing this but 3 out of 5 products I ordered have missing parts or broken parts, theis last Mortar and Pestle set is my last draw

This Natural Stone Mortar & Pestle Set makes cooking for a large family much easier. My family and I use all natural ingredients whenever possible. Chopping doesn't always get the texture we want, the mortar and pestle does. The silicone cover helps keep juicy or dry components from spattering and also keeps things from getting away from exuberant helpers.

I do wish the inside of the mortar was a bit rougher. To better grab the matter being worked. It works great with seeds and such, but not so well for slippery skins of things like dried peppers.The silicone lid is really useful when grinding stuff that will irritates the eyes or airway. I don't try to grind hot peppers without it anymore.The included mat does a great job at protecting your counter or what ever surface you are using the mortar on.It's a winner over all. don't shy away from it.
