What an amazing scented oil. Long lasting without being migraine inducing. I shower at night and feel certain I will smell this on my clothes the next day. It is warm and slightly spicy, and I totally get why it’s called Sacred Santal. It invokes feelings and visions of strength and meditation. It absorbs completely on damp skin and works just as well on dry skin, a rarity in oils. The texture is lovely and not oily at all, and feels almost like a dry oil. It spreads well and evenly. It comes in a beautiful dark brown glass bottle with a pump that does not dispense too much at once, as a little goes a long way. The bottle is slightly larger than most other oils at 4.2 ounces (most are 3.99 or 4 ounces). I did mix it with a vanilla oil because it goes wonderfully with vanilla and because it is a bit strong. It’s pricier than other oils, but totally worth it. You can mix it beautifully with other warm scents and you just don’t need as much. I am so impressed with the scent and the quality characteristics of the oil. I highly, highly recommend it. If you like the scent profile, you will not regret this purchase.

This was worth every penny! Feels silky when u appky after a shower. The naked Neroli had me smelling my self all night. Baby between the wash and the oil I smelled like heaven. I have dry skin and not one ashy spot after using the two. Great quality. I was skeptical because of price. But I rabbit through the skincare app Yuka and it came back 100% skin safe with great ingredients. Get it Sis!

I was rlly contemplating whether or not to buy this; I don’t love when a product is over promoted on tiktok but the packaging on this was so pretty I decided to try it. OMG the scent is INSANE. I was thinking it would smell like santal 33 which I didn’t mind cuz I like sandalwood, but I do h have a strong preference for vanilla. If you love vanilla, you will LOVE this. It’s so sweet. It’s a nice woodsy / smoky vanilla ; so if you like vanilla skin by phlur, you should get this to layer with! However doesn’t smell like vanilla skin at all. I have an extensive collection of perfumes and lotions and I can’t seem to compare anything to this. A bit more mature imo, but not old lady smelling at all; I’m 20 and I can get away with wearing this. As for the oil itself, it absorbs pretty quickly and the scent lasts around 5-6 hours. Not sure about hydration, I always mix my oils with a lotion of some sort. I recommend for anyone who likes the smell of sweet woodsy vanillas. The smell is just 😩 cyklar if ur reading this pls send me another bottle im going thru this one so quickly 😭😭

Okay let me start by saying....... I feel like TikTok lied to me lol. This is NOT a "gourmand," or even really sweet, vanilla. It's like the vanilla skin perfume with an added green note... assuming that's bergamot. Its nice? But it smells like a vanilla body oil for someone who doesnt really like vanilla, if that makes sense.Ok look, this is one of the best *feeling* body oils I have ever used. It's thick? but not like the... Vaseline gel oil thick (if you don't know that one, think liquid Vaseline lol). Its so incredibly nourishing, and makes my skin feel incredible for a solid 12+ hours. It's almost like a serum in oil. It absorbs into the skin surprisingly well to be that thick too. Really impressed with that.The ingredients are also great. Now, is it worth the money? It depends. I think it is on the formula and packaging alone, but if you're into actual vanilla gourmands; I'd skip this one.

I used this instead of body cream. It worked great after swimming in the pool or beach. The oil is very light, doesn’t stain clothes and smells so good!! Love it! Already ordering more!

I was influenced to buy this line - shower gel, lotion, oil, even the perfume. It smells good though I'd say the shower gel smells better than the others. But the smell doesn't last at all. Even layering all 4 products, it's gone inside 3 hours, which is terribly disappointing considering the price point.

This is more than I usually spend on a body oil, but after trying a few different brands that I didn’t like, I decided to splurge. And I am so happy I did.This oil comes in a nice glass bottle with a pump. The pump lets me dispense the perfect amount- my previous body oils came with squirt tops or eye-droppers and had trouble getting the just-right amount. The oil absorbs into my skin right away so I don’t have to work about my skin feeling greasy or getting all over everything I sit on. The smell is an amazing, mature but not grannyish vanilla. It doesn’t make you smell like a bakery or cake shop. Furthermore, it goes perfectly with Phlur Vanilla Skin, my daily scent.
