Good solid mounting system!
Took a little bit of adjusting and figuring out where to place the mounting points but in the end very sturdy and solid. Comes with all the necessary nuts and bolts and even has extras. I put it on an eBike and had to maneuver through the disk braking system, gear derailur, and wires. In the end I had to leave one short arm off because there was no room but it’s still very solid. Very happy with it and will buy another one if I get another bike.Helpful tips:- Place all bolts and nuts loosely and adjust before tightening.- the two dog-leg arms are molded specifically to be on the right and left, make sure you look at each one to see which one goes where or else when you tighten the bolts it’ll warp one the bolt slots(not the end of the world, can just be warped back).- when using the FOAM SPACERS stick them onto the mounts (not the bike). This way if you need to take them off or re-adjust them they go with the mounts and aren’t stuck permanently on the bike.

best rack i've ever used and cant recommend highly enough
i had a cheap rack on my bike that broke the same month i purchased it. i rigged it to work for what i needed but one day coming home it broke completely and almost took my tire with it. i went online and after several hours looking i came across this one. seeing it says it can hold 310lbs and looked much sturdier than what i had i figured why not its cheap enough. took about 30 minutes to install because my bike doesnt use standard piping. i got it adjusted to the height i needed and wrenched it down, using the included rubber bits that help keep the supports in place. i took it out immediately for a much needed grocery run and loaded up my bags that i had attached to it and set off for home. 7 mile round trip with about 60lbs worth of goods and it didnt show any signs of give and kept solid on the bike. i've even transported other people on it without issue. a friend of mine needed to get to the store up the way from where we lived and while he thought i was joking when i offered him a lift, he finally got on and he's not light. he says he's 210lbs, he felt like more. took some effort to get where he needed to go but we got there and there wasnt a single issue with the rack. it didnt bend or buckle or even sway. i have to believe its claim at 300lb+ capacity as i've thrown everything i could at it since i got it and my bike has shown more issues than the rack ever has. absolutely worth it, and it works great with bikes that dont have eyelets for standard rack installs. my bike is a cheap fixed gear with no standard mounting options for anything and this has been the best investment for it yet.

Strongest rack out there. Assembly time various with no instructions
The instructions where a joke. Took 4x longer than necessary to assemble flipping the pieces every which way and having to take apart a flip pieces so it was in perfect alignment. After that though the rack is 4x stronger than anything out there. Rock solid for hauling.

Good rack, really bad instructions
Carrier is fine. The instructions to put it together were awful. They started assuming certain pieces came already assembled. Mine came full diassembled. Plus, the instructions are extremely sparse, and a very bad translation into English. A good rack, if you don't mind putting together a jigsaw puzzle.

WASTE OF TIME & MONEY! SCREWS, NUTS & BOLTS DID NOT FIT HARDWARE
I don't like leaving negative reviews... but THIS BIKE RACK IS THE WORST to put together and install. The screws appear to be all cross=threaded, the nuts are too small for the bolts. I tried every possible combination and finally took it to a bike-pro and he tried and found the same defective issue. I had read some reviews that also mentioned the problem with nuts and bolts and screws not fitting, but I took a chance thinking the company had by now gotten their shit together and rectified a known issue/complaint. Unfortunately, they have yet to fix the problems. I'm pissed that I wasted so much time and money. RETURNING IT BECAUSE IT'S DEFECTIVE.

Seems okay for now
Installed this on a Mongoose Hitch. If you are getting this for a fat tire bike, there's some things you may want to know:-- when bolting in the brackets, bolt them to the platform on the outer portion of the platform to allow wider space.-- the instructions it came with is a code scan with takes you to a video which is garbage. The video has more dislikes than likes. The video needs to show you how to connect everything, not just show some guy putting it together to music (with no instructions).-- there are 3 different screw lengths. short, medium and long. I used the shorts for connecting the brackets to the platform. I used the longs for the clamps on the lowest insert. And I used the mediums for the rest. You'll need to make a judgement call to ensure whatever length you use don't interfere with the tire. Putting this on a Mongoose Hitch 4" fat tire leaves about 1/2 inch of space between the tire and screw. I doubt there will be issues but it does look concerning.-- So part of the bracket is a single allen screw that adjusts the length of the bracket, which you tighten down with the allen screw. I don't really like this because when you have a person sitting on the platform, there will be some downward pressure on that screw that holds the bracket in place. There shouldn't be much pressure because more of that pressure is on the clamp that is held on the bar with the seat. I think the company could improve this if the bars that were extended would have been ribbed so when you tighten down the allen screw, it catches on that rib.-- there are 2 rubber pads that you use to buffer the clamp to the seat bar.-- there are 4 sticky foam pads you use to stick to the clamps that clamp down on the bike frame.Overall, I still need to test it out with a person sitting on it, which is why I bought it (along with a seat cushion). Putting it together took a lot of time as I had to swap out screws (by size) that seemed better fitted in certain places. My seat had to be raised a bit higher to ensure the platform doesn't hit the tire as well, so I'll have to live with that. The screws seem dangerously close to the tire, so I may just have to turn them around. If the carrier takes a huge hit, or breaks, then I would think that would be reason for the screw to dig into the tire, though I don't think that would happen, but you can never be too sure, so I will advise making sure the screws are put in where it won't scrape the tire if that happens.

Very poor instructions, side wing bars not fit for purpose
The first thing which has to be mentioned. If you purchase this product you either need to be very patient or have help from someone who is as the instructions are the most useless I've ever seen. The images in the booklet are unclear, and the video link is abysmal. You will need to try and assemble this yourself through trial and error, which took me around 4 hours with help from a friend. Pay attention to the screw lengths, there is no help at all which ones to use and there's 3 sizes. I spent most of the time swapping them round. When fully assembled however it is very sturdy. I've not tested the 310lb claim, but I can envision it will carry big weight (make sure your tyre tubes have the correct air pressure to prevent bursts). But despite its potential ability to carry heavy loads the design of the side wings (which prevent pannier bags from going into the wheel spokes) are not fit for purpose at all. They're far too small. The wings should be stretching further out to the rear and further down. I'm having to use zip ties to prevent my pannier bags from bumping into my spokes (i've attached pictures after removing the zip ties so you can see for yourselves).I'd recommend looking elsewhere if you are planning long journeys as this rack will cause problems instead of reduce them. I'm considering returning this for a refund.

Sturdy rack, no place for rear light.
Comes with assembly instructions and a online tutorial. One look at the instructions and didn't give enough detail, best just looking at the image to follow. Sticky pads are supplied to go on the frame for where the clamps would sit to protect the frame, and two silicone pads for the seat post claps. There are three lengths of bolts instructions don't state where they're meant for. I used the smallest for the rack and six connecting bars. Largest bolts for the frame clamps, closest to the frame then the medium on the third hole furthest away from the frame.

grocery shopping is easier
I dont drive so sometimes needs to cycle for grocery shopping. I had a basket in the front of my bike but my husband said it is a bit dangerous for me because if the items in the basket are heavy I then have a problem of balancing the bike. My husband adivsed me to have another basket to carry heavy stuff on the back of my bike. To do that, I need to have a carrier rack installed on my bike thats why I found this item on Amazon. The product is made from very strong material and is very sturdy after being installed on my bike. The installation was difficult for me and I could not sort it out on my own. My husband spent about half an hour on finishing the job. Not quite sure if it will stand the test of time. Hopefully it will because it is not cheap.

Extremely durable bike rack and the fixings included are very ...
Extremely durable bike rack and the fixings included are very tough, survived a 30mph crash with no structural damage and only minimal abrasion. The build quality, as well as the mounting system, spread the weight over multiple frame structural parts so the load is equally distributed. I feel confident riding with this attached and once it's mounted it stays on 6 months at a time only to come off when doing a full clean. The only downside is that it sits around 10-20cm above the rear tire thus causing the bike's center of gravity to shift significantly upwards and backward when carrying any significant load, this is further amplified when cornering when the feeling is the same as carrying another person on the back of the bike.

Nice Sturdy Rack
Very nice rack. Very sturdy and looks good. Installed on a bike 700c wheels and disc brakes with no issues. Give yourself a good 30 minutes to put it all together, Instructions are pretty basic and in "Chinglish", but in all honesty it's pretty obvious how it all goes together. Had a 70kg load on with no problems, very impressed. Will review in a year, if it's still going strong I'll amend my 4 star rating to 5 stars.
