Volcano lamp.
Terrible. Very cheap. I couldn't get the top off.I couldn't get the bottom open.It seemed very cheap. It made me so mad.I threw it away.Don't waste your money!!!

Just add more soap
I ordered this for my 6 year old son. We followed directions and put only two drops of soap in. Like a lot of the reviews the red balls got stuck at the bottom. I decided before throwing in the towel to put more soap in. I focused on the side that they were sticking. I let it sit for a bit. I turned it back on an hour later and the balls were no longer sticking! It was working as it should. There is no noise with mine either. I am so glad that I got it working. My son Loves this!

Volcano light
It looks really good when it’s working. I added extra dish soap. The little balls seem to want to gather around the edges. If the bottom were sloped slightly towards the center, I think it would help keep the little balls migrating into the center of the volcano. I have to keep shaking it to get the little balls out of the corners.

Use more dish soap
Use more than two drops dish soap so the balls don’t get stuck and if the water is cloudy use distilled water or change the water. Mine works great and it’s not noisy. I wish it was a little bit bigger but I think it’s OK for $20.

Not built to last.
Worked fine for a couple of months but now the pump is making an obnoxiously loud noise. Definitely not built to last long.

Clogs and noise
I love keeping it on the first couple of weeks. It stayed going all the time and then the beads with stop going. I would have to dump them out into a strainer and restart it again. I was past the 30 days. By time I realized it was going to be a continual problem. Plus it started making a lot of noise. I would shake it. It would stop and then start again right away. Otherwise I love the visual
