Easy Does It
Just got it in the mail late yesterday and tried it this morning. My baby girl is independent and doesn't want to be bothered with anything unless it is her decision. That includes loving and cuddling. Well I got her to let me hold her on the leg/foot of the recliner and took the comb out of the box. First I let her smell it and then did some light combing along her back and dang if she didn't let me keep doing it along her back and upper sides! Only for about 3 minutes and then she wanted down. Next time up on my chair will do more and maybe I will even get on the floor with her so I can hold her down to do more than just her back. The comb got a lot of hair in just that little bit of using it so I am jazzed about it. Now my baby boy is a lot more loving and will probably willingly let me do more on him but his hair is not as dense as his sister (brother, sister, from the same litter; don't ever do that again).Recommend but wish it was not as expensive for what you get. Even if it does work really well.

Okay Brush
This tool is OK. Nothing great but nothing horrible. I wish it had a handle?? It’s kind of hard to hold and use. It is nice that you can take the brush part away to easily collect hair.

Good for Shepards.
Could be a little bigger. But gets the job done.

Works like a charm!!
I have a French Bulldog and she sheds a ton, but is also still a puppy (not quite 9 months as of this review) and won’t sit still to get brushed most of the time- especially since a lot of brushes are shaped similar enough to chew toys that she wants to eat them. She LOVES this brush so much that not only will she sit still while I’m using it, but when she sees me pick it up she almost instantly will come over to me and sit down.On top of it working well for her behaviorally, it’s also an incredibly effective deshedder! I’ve used it twice since buying, and have been amazed at how much hair it got out both times without any cutting or pulling on her fur. We’re both extremely happy with this purchase and I’ve already recommended it to multiple friends. If I ever need a replacement, I know I’ll be coming back to this one! So glad to be done with buying different brushes that don’t work for us!

Designed for my Chihuahua
I was having trouble brushing my Chihuahua because he did not like me using any of the brushes I had on hand. After some research I found this brush. He now loves to be brushed and really likes the stiff rubber as a deep massage. Could not ask for more, a brush he likes and enjoys and it also is good at removing loose fur and undercoat.

NO! and Why from a Groomer
Been grooming over 30 years and have tried all the new "gadgets" cause you never know when you'll find a good one. Well this isn't it. Do Not Buy this. Because: 1) the blades are appx 1/4" high and are more like tiny hand saw blades pointy and sharp. You don't want that going across your short coated dog or especially your cat's back as it will hurt them. 2) On longer coated dogs it cannot grab the coat sufficiently. It does pull out a small amount of hair but to compare it with much better and safer tool like the Furminator, the King Komb is a gimmick. 3) The rubber knobs don't do any better. Your best bet is a black rubber curry brush like you would use on a horse. Been using rubber curries for years. Wish I had better news for the makers of this so called "de-shedding tool". I threw it out. You don't want kids trying to use this with those sharp blades.

Doesn't work
This is a waste of money to me and is inferior to the furminator. The furminator could get twice as much loose hair in less than half the time. Not sure if it is because I bought the mini vs the full sized Komb. But i have a small dog and the full sized would be too big.I bought this because i read reviews that pets seem to like and enjoy being groomed with this vs the furminator. My terrier dislikes it just as much and the fur tends to get caught at the corners and takes more effort to remove vs the furminator.I am sticking to the furminator and probably won't try anything else.
