I am very happy with this product! I installed it under the kitchen wall cabinets in my apartment, and they provide much-needed illumination to the countertop. I was able to snake the strip around the top of the microwave and it turned out the length was perfect, ending at the end of the last cabinet. I mounted the dimmer switch under the cabinet near the outlet, wrapping the generous cable around a pair of nails driven into the cabinet bottom.My only (small) complaint is that the dimmer dial is very smooth and somewhat difficult to turn...it needs ridges or something so it's "grippier," I could glue a circle of 220-grit sandpaper to the knob to make it easier toturn on and off or dim.OK, so here's what I learned from this. If you are going to do a similar installation, I would caution you to NOT install the strip too close to the bottom front lip of the cabinets! I did this, concerned that I didn't want the strip to "show." but that 3/4" lip blocks the light from the front 8" of countertop. So, adjust the distance from the cabinet lip about 1 1/2" back so that the strip illuminates the entire countertop (but not the floor!).I would buy this product again, it was everything I imagined and it provides great light to the countertop. I dim it down in the evening to provide soft light in the kitchen, it looks great!

I love decorating with light, kind of a light-a-holic. I wanted to have some up-lighting on the plate rail in my kitchen. Yea, it's old-fashioned. I already had dimmable task and area lights and a giant cloud in the middle but I wanted to make it feel like there was light horizon on the ceiling. Anyway, these lights are perfect. Easy to install (just make sure the surface is clean). I liked it so much I bought a second strip for another wall. Friends admired the effect and asked what they were and where I got them. Sometimes I'll use them without any other lighting, and since they are dimmable, I get plenty of light while I have dinner without having to turn on the big guns (I like lots of light for food prep and washing up). My next project will be to light a stairway so I don't have to turn on house lights for a midnight raid on the fridge. So, I'm going to buy more. They have already lasted a couple years with dailing, almost constant use.

Used these for a house bed frame for the kids. The dimmer is great and adjusts to the perfect brightness when needed. I added some double sided tape to the strip so there is no issue of adhesion. The knob for the dimmer is quite bulky and is configured to have the dial exposed facing left. That is if you want the lights to turn on when you turn the dial up. I had to mount it with the dial exposed facing right so the dial turns downward to turn on and up to turn off. It was mounted using some 3m double sided tape. Its light enough to stick with no issue. The cord from the led strip to the dimmer was not long enough for my use so i had to use some extra wire to extend that, it was very easy to do. These lights are great, i recommend.

I have used these many times over the years on the back of our IKEA shelves and never have any issues. *TIP* ((Outline the pattern for the strip light before beginning AND don't remove the wax paper strip cover for the tape adhesive side all at once. Remove as you lay it down. This way you can more easily correct any mistakes.))Rather than cutting, I make corners by folding the strip tape over itself when placing them.They strip light sticks very well without tearing any of the furniture. The only time they have gone out was when we moved and accidentally hit the lights hard against a wall, and even then, only a few went out.I also use Amazon plugs so I can connect them to the Alexa and use a verbal command to turn them on and off or put them on a sunset timer through the Alexa based on our time zone.Guests always compliment them and they create a soothing atmosphere. They surround our TV but they don't reflect off of it during movie nights or while playing games. Although they probably would reflect if they were across from the TV and above the couch. We have some facing the back of the couch that faces the TV but they are lower than the top of the couch so no issues there!Don't worry about outlining EVERY box shelf. Mine look great since I just focused on the three major verticals of the shelf for the 30 3/8x57 7/8" KALLAX IKEA shelving unit. The 20 ft light strip outlined each box for the 30 3/8x30 3/8" KALLAX IKEA shelving unit.Hope this helped!

I used these for kitchen counter undercabinet lights. They were very easy to apply to the wood. I will see if the adhesive sticks over time. I used these with a motion sensor. However, I was not able to get these dimmers to work together with the motion sensor. In any case, the amount of light is fine at full brightness for this application.

For the price paid, these lights work great. They are easy to cut to size and install. The adhesive seems quite strong.

I have purchased these lights on three different occasions. The lights themselves are wonderful. The adhesion is great. Once you stick them on they will stay. The installation is very easy. And they do have a dimmer switch. The one negative comment I will say the seller says there is a remote and out of three purchases I have never received a remote. But because I do like the lights and the warm white color is true, compared to other ones I have purchased and returned, I went ahead and bought more. It is irritating however that this seller advertises a remote which you do not obviously get. This seller would have received five stars if they would either send the remotes as advertised or take it off of their description.
