Best Controller I’ve Owned – Ignore the Noise
Hands down the best controller I’ve ever owned. I was initially hesitant after reading a few reviews about the hand feel, but I’m glad I trusted my instincts. I have average‑sized hands, and the ergonomics are spot‑on—grip shape, back paddles, and overall balance are as close to perfect as I’ve found. My Elite Series 2 used to hold that title. This one takes the crown. What really puts it over the top for me is the tactical feel of every button and trigger. The feedback is crisp, consistent, and incredibly satisfying during fast gameplay. I do wish it came with better grips and some taller stick options, but a nice set of Talons and aftermarket caps will take care of that easily. Ignore the noise about frequent disconnects. I don’t use the stock cable—it’s bulky and heavy. Instead, I run flush‑angled USB‑C cables from Amazon, and I’ve had zero issues across all my controllers. The one I use is about $15.99, but it’s worth every penny as a dedicated controller cable. They work fine on their own, but I add a rubber band for extra insurance and stability. Hope this helps anyone troubleshooting connection issues or debating the upgrade. This controller is a beast.

What?!?!?!
Don’t believe the reviews they had to have bad units. No disconnections while violently shaking the controller. I have no problems only lovely things to say. It is a very sturdy controller. It works very well. It might just make you a better gamer. It makes things fresh and fun again. If you’re like me and this is your first rear button controller it’s awesome. The buttons are so nice. When you lock the triggers they turn into a mouse click!!

Disconnection Issues
Believe the other reviews--this controller will begin to have major connection issues after a period of time, which then get progressively worse. The rumble will stick at seemingly 100% (I believe the disconnecting is due in whole or part to the rumble), then audio will briefly cut out (I am guessing due to USB disconnecting then reconnecting). At that point, I unplugged, boxed it up, and contacted Razer support (past Amazon return date, unfortunately). They will not accept a return not from them, so I am trying to get a replacement controller (which I will sell). Customer service rep had to refer me to their manager because they were only trying to replace the cable. We will see what happens.

Definitely improved game play and movement
Great customer service , broke within the first week the right stick didn’t respond when being pressed but after signing up for the warranty razer reached out and exchanged it no charge. Slight stick drift on the left stick now after months of use but a quick flick up and down of the stick usually stops the issue for a few games not bad for the price wish I would of gotten the wireless though

Its ok
Controller works IF you use a different USB-C cable. It also is a noticeable downgrade in quality from the V2 with interesting placement for the select and start buttons. Other then that it works, nothing special

Decent for the price. Not great.
I'll start by saying that I think this is a pretty good controller. Especially for the price! Dont get the v3 pro unless you NEED that wireless and gyro. Ill be pretty critical here but for $100 its pretty darn good. Most people would probably give it a five star if it was their first "pro controller. I'm just really picky. I've tried AIM, Hex, battle beaver, elite series 2, scuf, hypr, and more. If you've owned pretty much any of these you might be disappointed. Or if you have bigger hands than a girl. I'll talk about the hall effect sensors razer used later but they're pretty good. First point. The controller is unusually small. I don't have huge hands or anything. I have kinda long fingers i guess. It might be more because of the grip that I hold my controller. But it's tiny. Much smaller than a ps5 or xbox controller. And shaped pretty weird. When you hold the controller like how they want you to it's OK I guess but it's not optimal for clicking the four back buttons. When I hold it how I like, my joints (not my knuckles, idk what theyre called exactly) rub really harshly against the rough back. Btw the back its grippy like other pro controllers, it's just a really rough plastic. It would be fine if my finger joints weren't having to rub against them. Back buttons because of this are just not in the right place for me. This varies between people so idk. Just weird that its so much smaller than an xbox or ps5 controller. Like 20-30% id say. But its very noticeable. First thing i noticed. Second. All the buttons are mouse click. If you're coming from a stock controller you'll probably think it's pretty nice. Compared to pretty much any other mouse click controller that I've used though, it's not great. All the buttons are kind of mushy and there's a lot of slop and slack. Again, if you're coming from a stock controller, you'd probably be happy with it (idk anymore tbh, im spoiled when i comes to controllers). Not a huge deal by any means, especially if they last, just something I wanted to point out. Third. The Hall effect sensors. Hall effect sensors is kind of a big buzz/marketing word because there's a lot of different brands and quality of these sensors. I'd say this one's in the middle. The circularity tests for both sticks were around 13%. Which when you compare to a higher quality sensor, is pretty high. But still very tolerable. You won't be able to tell the difference tbh. Just a testament to equality of the sensors they're using. Can't speak on longevity. But nothing to worry about there. They came out with an update a while ago with the option to remove the built-in dead zone. DO THIS IMMEDIATELY. Fourth. Build quality is OK I guess. Even if youre coming from a stock controller, it might feel a little cheap in some areas like the quality of the plastic theyre using and the mushiness of the "mouse click" buttons and triggers. If you have held the beautiful build quality of the elite series 2 (other than the stick drift prone joysticks) then you will definitely feel the difference (if you even care). Overall pretty good controller. Darn good for the price id say even though there might be some better options. Wanted to give it a 4 star but i just dont think thats fair. Im spoiled in this territory and i do think its a good controller for $100. Id probably go for the elite series 2 or any of the other brands i mentioned before (except for battle beaver and probably hypr). With the series 2, just dont mess around d with the stick tension, it increases the risk of the stick drift getting you by 100x. Good luck!

Like New Used
My purchase was a “like new”controller, but out of the box it had stick drift. I doubt it is the controller manufacturer’s issue and is likely some sort of replacement miscommunication. Other than that, it’s great.
