I must say however that upon first attempting to install battery, I became very frustrated, it just simply didn't seem to fit. I kept going back to reread the description to be sure it was the correct one I wanted, this went on for close to two hours, I was afraid to keep trying because I didn't want to damage it. I waited until the next day before I tried again, but ran into more of the same, I kept comparing the battery sizes, holding them together and looking at the inside of my Acer just to be sure, it appeared to be the correct one. I was thinking about giving up, but after about another hour or two I decided I would try just one more time, and I'll be danged if it just didn't click into place, I was stunned, but delighted, it was me all along. it powered up right away, the low power alert disappeared, all three blue power indicator lights came on, hadn't seen that in ages. but just in case allowed the battery to power up for 24 hours. used my Acer all day and my 3 power indicator lights were still on. I also had not noticed at first, quite by accident really, I was sitting across the room and noticed that the Acer was elevated, I was thinking I'd put it on something, but upon lifting it up to remove whatever was there, I realized it was built in risers! I hadn't noticed that before, Way To Go Guys, didnt see that coming, I love it. I looked at a lot of batteries some more expensive, some less, but this one just sort of jumped out at me. with the packaging photo and the price point.
