Did the job
Same diameter as the original cap, so fitment was good. Color code was different but the terminals are stamped with indicators so there’s no guessing. Old cap had my outside unit dragging on startup, this one fires it right up.

Short life
Agree easy home owner job. This job should not be required annually. OEM cap lasted from 2014-2024. This brand lasted 18 months.After checking contact resistance, replacing motor and capacitor expect 5 years minimum. Pay a little more get a lot more is my current expectation with this years replacement.At least Failure was not catastrophic and did not include rupture. Only fan section failed open.Maybe a great addition to truck, if return calls are your business.If ordering this one for delivery speed. I recommend to order the trusted brand for soon replacement is in future. Of course ordering the cheap one is ok. Just make sure to have something to replace it when it fails.To date 4.6 listed here. Really?
