Oh was I surprised just what I was looking for. Got black mat it is really pretty. Made well can't to start planting.

This pot? This pot is art. It's the Audrey Hepburn of indoor ceramics, chic, understated, and probably knows your secrets. My monstera slid in like it had just found its forever home and immediately started acting like it owned the place (it does now). The black ceramic finish? Matte perfection with a hint of menace. It's giving “I water with intention and play jazz while I prune.”

These are nice. They are purpose-specific and do what they are meant to do. Plus, they look great while holding my plants. Incredible that I have not killed these plants yet :) I'm a bit of a brown-thumb.

Like this planter. I was looking for a planter to use for a fake succulent arrangement. This was exactly what I was looking for. The size was perfect and the price was even better. It has a matte finish and the finish makes the imperfections visible which is why I took off one star (since the planter did have a few imperfections). I almost wish they had chosen a different finish but it was true to the description, and I could not find something similar in the same price range. I would definitely order this again, especially since the imperfections aren’t very visible in my arrangement.

I got this pot for my cacti a couple of years ago. It sits in my living room all winter and in the summer it sits on my front porch in the sun and elements. This pot is sturdy, thick, and heavy with a drainage hole in the bottom. The black color is still beautiful after several years of use. At the time I remember feeling like this pot was a little pricy but at this point I think it was worth it. It's outlasted many I've gotten from Walmart as it isn't cheap, painted, pottery. It seems to really be black colored pottery that doesn't chip or fade.

After buying this I read the reviews and got a little worried based on some of the complaints but I can say the pot has a lovely finish. It appears to be a black faux wood grain finish and has a nice effect and texture. The package arrived in the best and carefully packed box I have ever received and I order a lot! The pot accommodated many of my succulents that had to be brought indoors due to early freeze warning this year. So I found myself unprepared and needing a rectangular shaped box style planter pot. This arrived perfectly intact and quickly. I think the pot is stylish for any decor and looks beautiful on my coffee table where I plan to keep my succulents for the winter. There are 2 drain holes are perfectly sufficient imo. The tray is a useful accessory and the finish perfectly matches the pot. My only comment is I wish the pot were 2-3 inches larger but it measures about 13 x 4 inches of interior planting space for your plants. I stuffed it full as you can see, but hopefully they don’t overgrow it. I am thinking of ordering 1 more pot just like this as two would be beautiful side by side.

Such a nice finish and its the perfect size and depth for mature small succulents and cacti with developed roots. Great dish with drainage holes. My only complaint is the amount of packaging - came in an amazon cardboard box with paper padding on the inside to keep a second, smaller box in place, which was the size of the planter embedded in a huge block of styrofoam even though there are so many available cheap alternatives that arent non recyclable plastic! Amazon why do you double box things like this? What a waste of materials and fuel to ship this to me!

It looks like it had been painted then quickly wrapped. Damage to paintwork, just as well it's black.
