B Pillar Trim Door Driver Side with Keyless Entry Keypad Compatible with 2011-2019 Explorer Replace DB5Z-7820555-AB DB5Z-7820555-AC

Quit working after one month.

Easy replacement and fit was perfect.

Does not work!!! Install it on my 2017 explore, and the buttons do not work unless you unlock the vehicle supplying power to the keypad, then you can enter the code. Defeats the purpose because of your vehicle is locked and you don’t have your key. The keypad does not function. Completely useless!!!

Perfect replacement! The original part somehow got a chemical burn on it that smeared across the bottom just below the number pad. This replacement part is beautiful! Granted getting the original part off was a bear. I had to use the heat gun on it to get the 12 year old tape off but once it broke loose the rest was pretty much straight forward.

I’m honestly not sure what’s going on with this pillar. The build quality seems solid—the plastic feels sturdy, the snaps are secure, and the two-sided tape looks like it’ll hold up well. However, after installation, the electronic keypad just doesn’t work at all, which is incredibly frustrating. I was really hoping this would enable the keyless entry on my car, and I’m pretty disappointed that it’s not functioning as expected. I rely on the keyless entry feature, so not having it working properly is a big letdown. I’ve double-checked everything, but no matter what, the keypad remains unresponsive. It’s disappointing because everything else about the product seemed promising.

I have already bought two and I don't know if it's the glue but they come off and break.
