I purchased this and put the seed down this past Spring. I got good results. Grass came in and grew quickly. However, I let my dogs pee on that area too soon and it quickly died. Not the seeds fault. I will order more to put down this Fall.

It works well, but it's basically the same thing as putting down seed and peat moss (or toilet paper slurry). I've had good success with the product, but it's not very cost effectively. You recommend this to people who really don't want to deal with multiple steps. No matter what you do, you have to water it when it dries out (it gets lighter). If you don't do that with this or peat moss, you're not getting grass. If you do, you get grass in 10-14 days. Germination is really quick, as it would be with peat moss. It's a nice green.

This product does not sprout grass. I bought it twice. Once a year or so go and then two weeks ago. It didn’t work the first time but I blamed myself. Wasn’t sure I kept the product moist/wet enough for the seed to germinate. This time I knew we would be home for two full weeks and knew I could follow the directions exactly. Followed all directions exactly as written. Never once dried out. Out of using the full bottle along a bare strip of new topsoil, I sprouted less than ten blades of new grass. Bunk product. Don’t waist your time and money. Not going to bother asking for a refund. But I won’t be fooled a third time!

This works extremely well. It is my go-to grass replacement method.Note: you have to follow instructions! You must prep the ground per the instructions thoroughly and water, thoroughly AFTER planting. And continue to water. Just like any plant, if you don't do these things, it won't grow... I've shared before and after pictures within ten days of planting...

I wouldn't say it covers as much as it says, but I may have put on too much. The results? Amazing. Slopes, dead spots, places where the grass died from to much sun and too little watering? Boom. Grew it right back. Look close at my pics and you'll see the density. Hence I may have used too much. SLC. UT

This works. Had two areas that had crab grass and something I have never seen. Dug both out and used this product and now the grass has filled. Very pleased.
