If I could give these 0 stars, I would. We expected these to be something durable that could function on a child's bike. Instead,they are like the fairie lights that you buy for weddings or decorating. They are extremely fragile and can break or short out with almost no effort.

For starters, I had to google 'How to install DAWAY lights" because the tiny instructions on the box were of no help at all. It wasn't simple getting that contraption secured to the center of the bike wheel with the zip ties and the lights would not secure to the spokes along the rim so it just looked messy to begin with. When I finally did get the contraption on and took my bike out for a spin, it immediately came off and started spinning around between the spokes. I didn't think it was safe to leave it like that so i was forced to rip it all out. Long story short, i wasted money on this, I never got a chance to see what it would look like because it all came apart before i got a chance to turn the lights on. Lesson learned: I should have done better research first. My experience was not isolated to just me.

Was alittle difficult to install but got the hang of it the second time. The lights are actually brighter than expected. I was as delicate as possible but after threading them and getting the string of lights caught up in a tangle, they are actually more durable than expected. I might have stepped on it one piece and thought forsure they were not going to work but they still worked. I found the installation easier with the bike laying on the floor on its side. The lights have 2 modes. Slow flashing and steady on while riding. Highly recommend. 4 of 5 stars because they didnt bring installation instructions.

The lights were pretty easy to put on, just time consuming. the batteries didn't last (that come with) but replaced with energizers and they are good. However, the wires are not coated so I think they have corroded and half of the set on both bikes no longer work. I will look for a set that might be coated next time I buy.We did get a lot of positive feedback riding the bikes at night and it definitely is a great idea for safety if you ride your bike at night.

We recently purchase a used pop up camper. My daughter loves to bring her bike when we camp because we live on the side of a hill and she doesn't get to ride as often as she would like. At first letting her ride around after dark would make me nervous. I got these and the ones that go on the middle bars and now all I have to do is look up and I know exactly where she is at all times. She loves them as well. Great idea! Really fun on the fourth of july as well. All the other kids think its the coolest bike ever!

Easy to install once I went onto the product page, it did not come with instructions...but it is pretty self-explanatory. A kid can easily turn the lights on and off once installed, and they are bright. Only went to a quick ride down the street to check them out so far. The only drawback is that I would have preferred a clip or two to keep the lights in place. They just wrap around the spokes and have already loosened, not a deal breaker though.

My son loves these for his bike. We take nightly walks and I like that he is more visible when we’re on the road and it’s getting dark. All of his friends love them as well and are begging their parents to buy them some now.The only thing I didn’t like, which isn’t that big of deal, is they are kind of teadious to wrap around the spokes. I didn’t trust my 7 y/o to put them on himself because I thought he’d leave to much slack that would cause a cotrastophy later.

I like that the lights are very bright for walking at night. I used them on my stroller tires that are almost as big as bicycle tires. Mounting the battery pack was a little difficult.
