My go-to laxative - works every time - but be sure you hydrate!!!
Can always count on these - just one step short of the potent OTC liquid Magnesium Citrate as far as effectiveness for those of you with stubborn bowel isues. Personally, I have to take six at a time, with lots of water (I am fairly large, 200lbs, 6'2") to achieve the desired relief, but it works well, and consistently. The more gentle stool softeners such as Dulcolax, etc., do not work for me. Ex-Lax maximum strength, however, works great every time. I recommend drinking a lot of water, again, to better facilitate the process and to avoid dehydration. Of course, always consult your doc, first, esp if you are really having serious issues.

I cannot tell the difference in it and the regular and since it says maximum strength I wish that it was a little stronger.

works well though i like using natural remedies when this kind of "troubles" arise....and stick to the dosage or you might get the worst stomach cramps :O
