UPDATE- Seller contacted me to assure me this was not their standard for product quality. They provided a full refund - no additional questions asked. Every once in awhile, an issue is bound to happen with any product but not every seller is willing to stand behind what they sell. Because they did so promptly, they are definitely deserving of another try when I need a cord in the future. It did all of the things the other reviewers say and then quit. At first I thought it was the charging cube. Tried the Apple one & 2 others versions. Nope. Not a bend or a mark on the cord or either plug end. Just dead.
