This is a heavy duty and high quality tool. It was a good value and works well. This heavy duty model works much better than the lighter duty one it replaced. I highly recommend the heavy duty model even if you think a lighter duty one might be adequate. The steel rope on the heavier duty one is much more robust and less prone to winding problems.

Very sturdy and reasonable cost. Weighs more than I expected.

Not as nice as a Lug All or a Maasdam but most pullers sub $50 are not as nice as this one. It comes dry from the factory, it runs and spools much nicer if you lube all contact points, especially the spool guide and pulleys. It does have a reverse function, one notch at a time. It is held together with nylock style bolts and circlips.

I never in my life thought I would need a come along but here we are. I had a 900 pound water tank that was laying on its side and had to be stood up, spin, 180° and moved to a different location. I couldn’t have done it without this gadget. It seems to be well-made and very sturdy with a quarter inch (I think, I didn’t measure it) cable on it. The learning curve was interesting, but I’ve never used one of these before.

I needed to fell trees that are leaning the wrong way. I've used a come-a-long but it is limited to pulling the length of the cable on the spool. The rope puller doesn't spool up. If you're doing lighter loads, the rope pull is more useful.

Haven't put it to the true test yet but seems like it should do the job. Not a Masdam but that's why it's cheaper and comes with a rope. Do recommend taking hook off rope and tying it on if wanted.

Very good products for the price, I am happy with this choice
