not all wire are equal
great light bought 3 of them one at a time, one each for 3 30 gallon tanks, so i was impressed with light for the price and they really light up tanks. but the third one i ordered had shorter hanging wires and screwed up my plans for my aquarium scene. Lucky for me i only used 2 wires to hang lights on a curtain rod instead of ceiling so i had extra wires of correct length. want to order 2 more and hanging from another curtain rod. thinking twice but then again if one of the two are the correct length i should be good.

Wills Light, not that bad.
Its lighting potential lives up to the ad. Its turned not even half way up and its as bright as my two 30 watt lights. I had to send my first one back. I had it turned up on high right out of the box and the potentiometer failed in short order. It took a week for my refund but i did immediately order the same light. This light doesnt have a built in timer or ramp up and down lights but i put it on a timer at the plug and it comes on after my other lights have ramped up and goes off before the lights ramp down.I was getting about a 110 par at the bottom of my 55 gal tank which is ok but not great with my two 30 watt lights but now i can definitely hit 175 maybe 225 par with this Wills light. With LEDs i believe to be beneficial to may corals, soft corals and inverts as well as keeping the fish happy. As it is now i say i like this light very much.

Good inexpensive lighting, rusts easily
Just over four years of ownership and this does the job for a 24 inch deepcoral reef tank. However, because the chassis is made entirely out of steel, it rusted like you would not believe. It still works, but I got to the point where I was afraid to touch it for fear of it dropping metal flakes into my tank.I liked the adjustability of the intensity and colors so you could dial it in to get it just to your liking. I have two of these interlinked which was a nice feature. These are generally simple and easy to use. I just completed scraping them down and spraying them with rust Reformer to see if I’ll get one more time out of them before they completely rust apart. On one of them, the fans stopped working, but that did not seem to impede the ability of the unit or cause it to overheat.

A sturdy, no frills light for corals and marine tanks
This is my second purchase of Wills lights. My first set is going strong without any issues for ten years now. The LEDs are very intense with excellent color saturation. I'm an old school aquarist so I'd much rather get off my lazy butt 2-3 times a day to adjust the colors for feeding time. The whole point behind having a good reef tank is that you're supposed to enjoy all you can see and the Wills lights fulfill that need well. I strongly prefer this over having to screw around with the lackluster app I got with the Current Loop System (a month ago) and I deeply regret that particularly overpriced set of lights which is why I went back to Wills lighting. The only down-side for me is the bulk and weight of the item but a good suspension system will ameliorate that. Well worth the reasonable price.

Nice lights, great power
Great LightsProsGreat light intensity - I don't have a PAR meter, but my coral at the bottom of my 21 inch deep tank respond well to the lightVery fine tuning available for Whites, Blues, and Violets (all manually controlled)Great build quality - feel very sturdy, looks great above the tankConsShort power cable - gave feedback to seller and they're addressing, but in the mean time picking one up was very cheap. One that comes in the box is about 6 ft, which may work well for some.Manual controls - you will need a timer to have the lights come on and go off as desired, not too big of a deal, but worth notingOverall very happy with the light quality for the price - great alternative to some super expensive alternatives as well as compared to some of the cheap junk out there. Would recommend

Strong light needs better control
Strong led light but not the best option for a reef set up. Had issues finding a way to mount light and also to find the sweet spot between par and intensity was difficult.

Broken after 5 months
I purchased 2 lights. I am down to 1 light. My original purchased was in March 2023, in Aug 2023 one of the lights has now had its blue channels stop working. Support window closed June 2023.These lights were nothing amazing but did the job, and the customizability with the knobs was nice. But for 5 months and to break, I just don't feel I even got close to getting my moneys worth here.
