Exactly What I Thought I Needed
Through no fault of the pieces these were not what I needed. The pieces themselves are great and slotted in quick and fine. Really if you need some quick release component pieces these are great. For a quick heads up for others though, if you are a larger rider, say around and above the 200 lbs mark, get a solid axle. I cracked 3 axles before a mechanic finally told me that I would likely always over torque and crack hollow/quick release axles. It's not half as convenient, but with this much mass the hollow tube just doesn't hold up. I switched to solid and have never looked back. Hoping to save someone time and hassle.

Worked Perfectly as a Replacement for Solid Axles on a Kid's Bike
I bought these to convert the solid axle wheels on a Trek 24" kid's mountain bike to quick release configuration. I was under the impression that solid axles have SAE threading that is not the same as these metric hollow axles, so I expected my original cones and locknuts would not fit on the new axles. This was not the case, and the original cones and locknuts had the same thread size and pitch. This was good being that the provided cones were not compatible with my hubs. This was a perfect solution, and the conversion took only about 45 minutes. I am very happy with this purchase.

Works as expected. I couldn't use the cones that came with it because they were a different thickness than the stock ones I removed making them in compatible with my hub and fork. Swapped in the original cones (and jam nuts) and not surprisingly the length was spot on.

Perfect fit for my bike!
Item was exactly as described, fit my bike perfectly. I like the look of the locking handle. I’ve ridden a couple hundred miles so far, with no problems.

be satisfied with the weight savings
Got the job done. I had to replace a bent rear skewer on my 16 year old Raleigh. These were affordable and simple enough for me to put them on, be satisfied with the weight savings, and forget about them. Now my bike is running fine again! =)
