Brimstone (Deluxe Limited Edition) : Hart, Callie: desertcart.ae: Books Review: I just couldn't believe my eyes when I received my copy of Brimstone five days early. I was definitely so glad I preordered it! I devoured, but also savored this second book in the Fae & Alchemy Series. It reached all my expectations and even surpassed them. I was instantly lost in this fantastic world with Saeris, Kingfisher and company. There was a lot happening in this novel and I was left stunned repeatedly. There wasn't a dull moment that's for sure. Saeris and Kingfisher's romance was everything! The depth of their bond was simply remarkable. I cherished all their interactions from spicy stolen moments to tender ones to emotional ones and all the in between. Together they were fabulous, but separately I was in awe of them too. I was already enamored with Fisher, but this time around he was even more irresistible. His commanding presence, protectiveness and loyalty are only a few of his best qualities I admired. As for Saeris, she was still the same fierce, badass heroine I loved in Quicksilver. I found myself so giddy and pumping my fist at her imposing presence and sarcastic repartees. She acted like a true queen. I also enjoyed all the moments with their companion, Onyx. That little fox stole a few smiles from me with his cuteness. Carrion Swift and his constant humor and charm had me laughing a lot. All the other supporting characters I already loved and new ones I discovered had their time to shine in this novel. As for the intrigue, I was continually shocked by the turns of events. Some were small revelations, some others bigger, but nonetheless it was a constant flow that left me ultimately speechless. After reading the last sentense of the book, I stared into space for a long while full of questions and completely drained. Brimstone undeniably put me in the worst book hangover! This masterpiece of a story destroyed me in the best ways! Review: If you loved the Quicksilver, this should be fun too. However, beware of bad editing and nonsence that went into publishing unnoticed.

I was waiting for this so bad I read it in two days. I finished it at 4 in the morning and ended up staring at my wall for a solid 5 minutes. I'm obsessed with this and I can't wait for the next book. Make sure you've read the Bonus Chapters on Callie's website otherwise you'll wonder when did we got introduced with certain things. Fisher and the Wolves backstories as well as their personalities will also make much more sense. I love this world and those characters because they are so well fleshed out and described. The story and plotswists keeps you invested and wanting more all along. The smutt is also, as always, smutting 🌶🌶

Thank you Hachette for sending me a copy of this amazing book. I cannot express how thankful I am for this. Never in my life did I think that I would become this obsessed with a book. Brimstone is a beautifully written Fantasy book by Callie Hart. I was reluctant to pick it up initially because of the sheer size of the book, but I finished it in two days. The writing is so beautiful and the story is very fast paced. This book starts exactly where the first book ends, and it was amazing. There are a lot of characters in this book, and each and everyone is having a lot of depth to them. Their characters are beautifully written. Saeris is a very strong FMC, not a damsel in distress, but she has her own insecurities and confusions and all of her complex emotions were well written. And Kingfisher, he destroyed real men for me. His existence exudes so much power. I can feel his power through the pages while reading it and that's how Callie has written his character. Overall I enjoyed the book and hope you guys will like it too.
