Miracle Fix for My Scratched iPhone Screen – Worth Every Penny!
I bought my new iPhone 16 Pro Max and immediately ordered a tempered glass screen protector. I just needed to be extra careful for less than 48 hours until it arrived… how hard could that be? Apparently, very. By the time the protector showed up, I was SHOCKED to see 6 or 7 very noticeable scratches etched across my pristine new screen. I tried buffing them out, even installed the protector hoping it might hide them—but no. These scars were here to stay. I told myself I’d get used to them, but every glance at my phone was a fresh reminder of my carelessness. I blamed the iPhone for being so fragile, my husband for not ordering the protector sooner, and myself most of all. Two days of “careful use” and my phone already looked like an Etch A Sketch. I couldn’t imagine living with it for three long years. Then I discovered the Dome Glass process. It seemed risky and pricey, but $50 felt like a bargain if it could save my screen (and my sanity). When the kit arrived, I prepped like a surgeon about to perform a heart transplant—studying the instructions, watching YouTube videos, and rehearsing each step. The installation sounded involved, and the stakes felt high, but I pushed through and applied the glass using the included liquid adhesive. It wasn't that difficult - just one step at a time! The results? Absolutely extraordinary. The adhesive filled in every scratch, leaving my screen looking almost brand-new. In bright sunlight or on a black screen, I can just make out one or two deeper scrapes, but overall it’s as close to perfect as I could hope for. If minor scratches are driving you mad, this is your fix. It works, it lasts, and if I can do it, anyone can. Five enthusiastic stars.

BEWARE OF THIS PRODUCT AND SELLER
Awful. There are 6 raised bubbles around the edges of the glass that you can feel when using the screen. I've only had this on my phone for a week and it has scratched so badly. It's supposed to be resistant to minor scratches but that is not the case. This is definitely a defective product. Amazon directed me to the seller to resolve the issue but they have not responded to my emails. I'm really disappointed and frustrated.

Watch a few instillation videos first! Do a dry run!
I have used Whitestone dome glass for years and it is by and far the best. That being said, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND watching a few YouTube instructional videos before you install. If done correctly, you will never have a better screen protector. If done incorrectly you have a hot mess like some of these other reviews. If you make a mistake isopropyl alcohol is gonna be your best friend, lol (that’s how you remove the adhesive, not with a knife 🤦🏻♀️

Very complex, risky
This screen protector has the potential to be really great, and I’m sure many have had great results. Applying the protector is unusually complex. The included instructions are unhelpfully minimal. The qr code that takes you to an instructional video does not have a video for applying to an iPhone. The instructions need to explain a bit about how this process works and what’s happening. Something simple like, your about to apply am adhesive, and then cure it with a uv light, make sure the puddle of liquid is in the exact center of your phone before you apply the glass (my table was apparently not level, and so it was a little left of center). The adhesive didn’t make it all the way to the bottom right corner. Thankfully they give you two tubes of adhesive in case this happens. I quickly removed the glass, poured the new tube in, carefully centering the puddle and then reapplied the glass. Big air bubble (caused by the residual adhesive). I figured I’d better not try to squeeze it out because I tried squeezing more liquid to the corner of the screen my first attempt and the result was too much liquid squeezing out from under the glass and the edges being deprived of adhesive. As I didn’t understand exactly what was going in the process (which I do now), I thought I would just continue with the process and do the UV curing. Now the half inch bubble was permanent. The process was absolutely infuriating. I ended up tearing the protector off and throwing it away. I think you may have a great go at this, and it may be a great product. But it went horribly for me and was a waste of time and money. Go to an apple store, pay $50 dollars and have them apply it with their machine and warranty.

Trash
My initial gripe less than 24 hours ago was two bubbles in the screen protector even after watching the tutorial video 4 times, given there wasn’t even one listed for the iPhone 16 pro max on their QR code… at about hour 16, after being on my desk all day, it developed a hairline crack all the way across the screen. This product is absolute trash. I had a cheap Chinese protector that last 4 months and thought if I spent money on a high quality product it would last me longer. Boy was I wrong. I want a refund for my wasted 50$.

Just what I was looking for!
Many parts to the set up but it’s not too hard. The screen protector feels round on the edges and not sharp. It’s a slim screen protector. It goes further to the edge than most screen protectors of cheaper or higher price. 10/10 would recommend. Haven’t broke it yet but I’m curious to see if there’s any warranty, either way I’d get this again!

Scratch Removed
Adhesive worked perfectly to hide a massive scratch. The tempered glass unfortunately not so. For the tutorial I refer you to the YouTube channel: HighTechCheck.

It fixed the small scratch!
The screen protector is great and it fixed the small scratch that I had on my screen. I would totally recommend watching a few videos before attempting to apply it.

After a week, I had to completely change my 5-star review. This is not the same quality as before. There is a reason that it's no longer common or easy to get. One week later, and I have these spiderweb sections all over the screen where the glue seems to be separating... I have installed these many times on previous generation phones before with no issues. These are not of the same quality though. I even cured it more than the instructions say.... still separating a week later. Super disappointed that it's not the same quality as past versions. It saddens me to say that I can no longer recommend this screen protector.

Tried installing twice but there was a large air bubble in the same place after two attempts. Ended up throwing in the garbage. I have installed Whitestone products on my Samsung products many times in the past, but this installation on the iPhone 16+ was WAY over-complicated.
