Great purchase!
There are a lot of us in our household and our kettle is in constant use! The last kettle I had was a Morphy Richards and it lasted several years, which is longer than any other make I've had. Based on this I was determined to find a replacement Morphy Richards kettle. I really like the colour, style, shape and size of this one. It was reasonably priced and arrived on time. It boils quickly and although it's not quiet, it isn't any noisier than any other rapid boil I've had. It's lid and body are made of metal, so become very hot to touch after it's boiled. The lid has a small plastic handle that can be touched and handle on the kettle is plastic too. All in all I'm very pleased with my purchase. Would definitely recommend it. :)

Mega kettle
This is a really nice, smart looking kettle. We have always had what I would call an upright one with a flip top lid. I was wary about getting a rounder one with a lid that you pull off. My concerns were unwarranted as it's great. The lid pulls off easily but gives a nice tight seal, the volume scale works well and is easy to see, it's not too noisy and it's only a fraction wider than the tall kettle that we have always gone for. The colour is great and the filter is nice and large. I use bottled water and I am going to give it a rinse out every 2 weeks to keep on top of the scale. Other reviews have commented on how fast their kettle scales up using bottled water which you'd expect to be better than tap. I found the same but I still won't use the rank tasting tap water in our area. This kettle is a big thumbs up from me.

Nice kettle, very noisy
Really like the design and colour of this kettle, it’s easy to fill with a good capacity and an easy to read fill level window, it’s also an excellent pourer and the boil time is good, as is the price. However it is the noisiest kettle we’ve ever owned, it’s so LOUD. On the whole though, if you ignore the audible issues, it’s a good kettle.

Works. Solid.
It’s a kettle. It works. And in my opinion is aesthetically pleasing to the eye. It functions well - it’s solid, the handle and pour ergonomics are spot on. It boils quickly. The only downfall with these is the base. It’s lightweight. So fine with the kettle sat on it, but when you lift the kettle the base is so incredibly light and yet the cable is stiff that the base can easily move, flip over etc. Grab the cable and twist u TIL you’ve set the base where you want it - thereafter it finally settles into its spot and is ok.

Perfect
I bought the cream version, after spending time trawling through different kettles, this one seemed to tick every box. I was not disappointed when it arrived. The design is perfect, the body size balanced with the handle size. Body is stainless steel which for me is preferable to plastic, but still lightweight. The handle is on the side which I prefer as find this makes cleaning the inside easier as it is more accessible, I also find it is easier to pour when the handle is in the 'jug' style, on the side. It looks so pretty, and considering how many styles and brands are available on the market now, it feels great to have found the best!

A beautiful kettle
Our second Morphy Richards kettle. Both beautiful as well as contemporary. This one is quieter. It looks great in our kitchen and will last for ages. Our last one had plenty of life left - we just wanted a change.

Nice kettle - good price.
We spent quite a while selecting this kettle from numerous products. Looks good, feels good, it’s not at all noisy and delivers boiling water in good time - all in all very pleased!

Does the job and a lovely colour
I love the look of this kettle. It is a really nice red colour, I have the matching toaster and they look great together. It isn't the quietest kettle but it does the job and boils fairly quickly. The only downside for me would be that the water level window is under the handle so it's actually a bit difficult to see it when you are filling the kettle which is annoying. Other than that, so far im happy with it.

Read the label - feel a little cheated
I could have bought this in UK Amazon for less than half the price it cost me here, i purchased on the german Amazon thinking its worth the extra for the european socket..i never noticed the extortionate price of shipping almost the same cost of the kettle and then when it arrived with a ..... UK plug..when i questioned , they replied did it not have the european adapter .. no it did not..so more than double cost for same item (UK prime free delivery!)the kettle, works well, its a little noisy but expect that with size of element and speed boils, the colour matches my toaster .. but the above leaves a little sour in my mouth!

Modern kettle
I bought this product because it was a modern style and different than others on the market. But I was very disappointed to find that this is an American electric system.Amazon should not sell to Australia if this is the case, they should warn the customer .
