UPDATE: it's fast and support is fantastic! - Better and worse than Eero 6+ depending
UPDATE: ALL ISSUES RESOLVED, IT'S SCREAMING FAST AND I HAVE TO SAY, EERO SUPPORT IS PHENOMENAL.I'm updating my review from 4 to 5 stars after using this for a few months. First of all, their customer success reached out to me (because real humans spotted my issue, not AI) and proactively offered to help. I was impressed with that. That resolved some of the issues. As of changing a few things around, adding a security system, a boatload of ethernet cables (via a switch) and a bunch of other doohickies, it was necessary to make a few changes to the network setup. I emailed that there was an issue, they offered to schedule a call (which is so professional and awesome as opposed to waiting online for hours and getting dropped, which happens with so many call centers...) but I was busy and didn't respond so they sent an email reminder with my issue number. So I called their support and they. solved. the. issue. Now, the network is running faster than ever (I'm plugged in via ethernet now) and there's no high pitched noise anywhere in the house except within a 2 foot radius of the "main" eero puck. They also asked the make and model of the network switch I have plugged into the main eero to track any possible compatibility issues. To be honest, I didn't *really* want to love this bc it's owned by Amazon (ahem, scamazon? which doesn't have all my favorite business practices in the world!) but I do love this system. Because it works so well and they worked so hard to make sure everything worked, providing outstanding support from all angles, I can do nothing but sing its praises. I think you can't go wrong with this Eero. Incidentally, the wifi sped up significantly (even when not on ethernet) with this latest firmware and redo that took it out of bridge mode.---ORIGINAL REVIEW---I just set up the Eero 6+ a week ago, but the routers had to be super close together without Ethernet, and the speeds were merely so-so just a room away. Plus (and this is the deal killer) there was a persistent high-pitched noise around the routers, even when plugged in via ethernet. I have sensitive ears and can hear things dogs hear. I could also feel the frequency in my teeth. Very weird. So I thought I would try this one instead in case it made a difference. Our fiber speed is 940 max so the 6+ should have been fine speed wise. This one performs faster except when doors are closed, then it's actually slower. This one, fortunately, does not make the high pitched noise like the 6+, so points for that. But trying to connect the garage router wirelessly was unsuccessful where the 6+ connected just fine. I had to run an Ethernet cable to the Eero 7 to get it to connect. So I would say this one is more finicky overall than the 6+. I will have to decide whether I can deal with the high pitched noise of the 6+. The Eero 7 seems to have worse performance through walls.

Fantastic, Fan-TASTIC!
Coverage is great, signal is strong in every inch of my home. The "True Mesh" technology works exactly as they claim. I've never had speeds this good, never had coverage this pure and consistent. I'm upgrading from the TP-Link Tri-Band 6E, which I've been using since August 23, have included a few photos for comparison because this Router is elegant and beautiful in comparison.Over the years I've used several mesh systems: Google was great, simple and it just worked, all the time. I once spent a PILE on an Asus Zen system, ironically the worst I've dealt with. The TP-Link was just ok, nothing great about it, just a few problems: First was that whenever there was an update it was always an adventure & would leave me jerking around for an hour or so to fix things afterward (kind of like a Windows update, where you cower in fear until successful reboot haha). The User Interface of the App is great. Easy to navigate and all the info you need. NO, you don't have to pay the monthly fee on this, you'll get everything you need without it. Don't believe those youtubers out there who are claiming otherwise.Bottom Line: Buy this. Install is simple, fast, easy. GUI is beautiful, the router itself is attractive & blends into a room easily. Your coverage will be great....

Better than expected, pretty effortless setup and operation.
Cons : Did not survive having 80 pounds of exercise equipment. Perhaps I am a little over-optimistic there :)Pro : Setup is why this gets 4 instead of 5 stars. Took 2-3 minutes of fiddling to get the setup to complete. I had to power cycle my cable modem, to get the router to handshake successfully.BIG PRO : The app sits on my iPad and gives options for the hardware - Add, Delete & Replace. I figured there could be a serial number or MAC Address that might need to change, IDK, not my area of expertise. Apart from the modem power cycle, it was seamless, replacing the hardware, leaving my network configuration untouched and my various devices and IoT connections came right back without me having to do anything.

Just what I needed
My whole house was doing fine with my home wifi, EXCEPT my home office which was a dead zone. I work from home and am on video calls most of the day, so this was a pretty huge issue for me. Had multiple visits with Verizon where the solution was either to totally change all of my equipment and then have to change over every single wifi-enabled device in my house (smart tv, ring doorbell, thermostat, etc), OR drill new coax lines into my house so that the wifi extender they gave me could actually work.I was a little stressed about switching over to Eero, thinking it would mean I would still have to redo all of my home electronics, but turns out that wasn't necessary! It lets you keep your network name and password, and just extends the signal throughout the house. Now I can actually USE my home office, and the wifi works great. I couldn't be more thrilled.CON: Some features cost a monthly subscription fee, but you can use without.CON: Pretty expensive, but it does work, and I'm writing it off as a business expense (which it is).
