ソフトウェアではなくハードウェアでリモート可能
会社支給のテレワーク用PCにリモートソフトをインストールするわけにはいかず、こちらの商品を購入。マウス・キーボード等の操作が別PCやスマホのブラウザから可能になりました。まれに映像がおかしくなる、Shift・Ctrl・Altなどの修飾キーが押されっぱなしになってしまう点がありました。前者はブラウザのリロード、後者はKVMの再起動で解決しています。思ったより便利だったのでサーバー用に買い足しを検討中です。

Unreliable ethernet (known issue with hardware design)
I wanted to really like this device given that it was very affordable, compact, and simple.However, it has a fatal flaw, which is that the ethernet PHY does not work reliably if two devices are at different grounds because the particular circuity chosen in this device is poor quality. See issue #26 on the GitHub project. I'd be willing to pay just a little more extra money for a more reliably ethernet PHY.In my use case, I want to ship these to relatives (with low IT abilities) when they have computer issues. However, the unreliability of ethernet means that I may end up needing to debug why the KVM itself isn't connecting rather than whatever issue the relative is having.

KVMを考えているなら試す価値あり
本体利用開始に伴う説明はあまり充実しておらず、接続方法については自作PCの知識があったほうが良い web上に実際の利用者が情報を上げてくれているので参考にするといいと思う 複数のPCを個人で管理しているなら使ってみる価値はある
