Works great! Perfect for my laptop.
I bought this external drive because my laptop doesn't have a built-in one, and it works perfectly! It was truly plug-and-play. No complicated setup required. It's been very reliable for watching all my old DVDs and it’s slim enough to fit right in my laptop bag. Great value for the price!

Easy & Works perfect
plug n play 100% - Awesome! My computer crashed and the new computer I bought didn't have a DVD player, so I bought this and was able to load up my MS Office Excel & Word apps from the disk! Perfect!

well built - works well to watch DVD movies on my laptop - don't like the hardwired short cable
Rioddas External CD/DVD Drive for Laptop, USB 3.0 CD: Great bargain. It's well built, opens & closes smoothly and has no issues. I use it to play DVD movies on my lower end HP laptop. I haven't used it to read or burn CDs. The only thing I don't like is the hardwired short cable. It's inconvenient for storage. I would've preferred no cord at all, to use a separate long cable. As it is, I use an uncommon (USB-A 2.0 male to female) extension cable to keep the drive out of the way.

Easy to use, burns CDs and plays cds
Simple plug in and use. It plays my music CDs with ease (I have a windows laptop) and also let's you burn CDs! Haven't tried it on DVDs yet, but I'll edit this when I have! It's very small and compact, so great for travel. Eject button worked great, design was simple and nice.

Good Value and support
While my original burner would not burn disks, after contacting support I got a replacement about 2 business days later no questions asked, and it works like a charm. Both reading and burning disks works perfectly, and is a great value

Easiest thing ever
Took less than one minute to be up and running. So easy. My windows 10 did not automatically read the diver, so I have to go to my computer file. Click on dvd and you’re watching. Not tired the burn feature yet. The cable is short so be prepared to sit it next to laptop or get extender cable

It works but CD gets stuck.
Ok it works, I wanted to revisit the old jumpstart games i played as a child so I got this and ordered some jumpstart games off of ebay, i dont know it's the inner child in me 🫣 The player runs the cds well -1 Star because its really had to get the disk out -1 star because the plugin cord is way to short for desktop -1 star for almost crashing my pc, I had to restart it, for whatever reason it did not like having a cd rom pluged into it Connectivity : 5/5 Usb port : 5/5 Compatibility : destop 4/5 Durability : NA Storage capacity : 1 disk 5/5 XD Reliability : NA Affordability : 5/5 $15
