Incredible router for the price. Just note that if you want Wifi 7 anything, just due to the physics of how that wavelength works you should not expect it to penetrate any walls. I am currently using the 6e and I am genuinely impressed. My download speed is definitely impacted from wifi 6 but latency is much better. This guy has pretty awesome range for stuff like the 2.5 ghz bands and penetrates a lot more than my tp-link routers. The routers ip point access is fairly simple and you can set it up without an app by clicking bottom of the screen which is a plus. There isnt a bunch of visual clutter inside and it integrated instantly with my pfsense server. The shape is nicer since I wanted to use this in a rack with a 3d printed housing. It doesnt get hot from what I have noticed and is completely silent. I took a gander looking at all the one stars that were on this device and from what I have seen is most people just don't understand how a lot of these machines work or the capabilities of the bands they are using. Dont expect wifi 7 to go through walls ever. 6e will significantly struggle so if you need distance/walls, you should lower your settings for the network you are adding in the configs.

Bought this to replace the router I had for 10 years. If its not broke then you dont need to fix it or replace it is why I waited to buy a new router. Started to have issues with the old router. After some research and looking at reviews I chose this router.Instaltion was almost easy, I chose to do setup through the computer based on reviews. Had to refresh microsoft edge a couple times to finish set up. Easy other then thatHaving this router fixed alot of issues I thought was related to software. One example is a game I played would not display information in some windows. With this router I had no problems with the gameThe backward compatability, the two ghz ranges allows my older security cameras to connect to router.The range is good also. Live in an apartment and this router now covers entire apartment so I can use internet on any device in any room with barely any slowdowns.Even the app is pretty good. Combines other apps i use into one such as an app that shows whats on your network and speedtest. As well as all the othet functions you need.Over all great router so far.

After almost 20 years I replaced my first Netgear router after DSL. Easy setup but no desktop control panel, control panel only for smart phones. You can do some minor setups from Edge or Chrom. But no access to QOS. Gained a 25% increase in speed if you believe the speed test. But all house devices are operating better including the wireless devices due to its extended range. 20 years ago, paid $78.00 for the router, this new one a little expensive but if it lasts another 20 years then I would say it's worth the money. It is ready if you decide to get 2.5 Gig service in the future and your ISP is providing 1 Gig service now. Replace my old router and had the Nighthawk up and operating in the house circuit in 20 minuets. You must register the product!

Worked great once I got it setup. It solved my internet connection problems I was having with my 5year old Nighthawk router. Unfortunately, I followed the directions for replacing an exsiting Nighthawk router and have it the same ID name. It was showing up twice snd I kept looping through the setup over and over. Eventually, I set it up with the default Netgear ID, set it up, and then changed everything to my previous settings. I didn't want to manually reset up all my devices to connect to the new router. Everybody is connecting great now!

Sleek unit, was easy to set up as the instructions are well written. I needed a router to attach to my fiber optic cable plan, fiber optic only needs a router. I will save $10 a month using this so it will be paid off in a year. The Wifi range is very good, better than some units I've had from carriers. Has 4 cat 5 connectors.

Easy setup and very stable, it has been running for several months without any issues. It's also extremely stable and handles all of our web traffic every day, no drops or buff during streaming 4K streaming at all. Excellent coverage and signal strength throughout the house and outside on the deck. Highly recommended.

I have other Netgear devices and have enjoyed each one. I like the reliability of the product as well as the ease of manageability. The features what come with this rival some of the more expensive models. And Netgear has come up with several ways to manage their routers. App on a mobile device, standard web interface. I like the fact that Netgear seems to always keep in step with the ever changing world of IT, and seems to be a very innovative company. I believe that hooked up with a reliable internet service provider, this thing will out perform them all. Connectivity speeds are robust, and reliable, the Wifi is exactly what they say it is, fast and reliable with auto sensing between bands to give the user optimization of connectivity. Plug and play all the way, customizable all the way, and reliable all the way.

Amazing router. User friendly app that walks you through step by step. Extremely easy set up. Great speeds. I finally can take advantage of my internet provider’s advertised speed. The router also feels very durable and not cheap. 10/10 would buy nighthawk again.
