Smithfield, Anytime Favorites Hickory Smoked Fully Cooked Diced Ham, 8 oz

I keep a package or two of these in my freezer for quick meals. Great for throwing into some split pea soup, or some homemade egg bites, mix it with some scalloped potatoes or put on a pizza. These are pretty small cubes but make them pretty versatile. They taste great, have a good ham taste with a slight smokiness to it. Easy to throw a package or two into the freezer and thaw out in 30 minutes on the counter when you need it. Reasonably priced for the portion size.

Really handy for adding to frittatas, quiches, and scrambled eggs.

Great product and time saver. The ham is diced into small 1/4" pieces; perfect for our family's penchant for scrambled eggs, omelets with ham, or a quick addition to split pea soup. Upon purchase, I simply divide one package of DICED SMITHFIELD HAM into about 4-5 single servings, package them in snack size plastic zip bags, then place all of the smaller bags into a labeled quart size freezer bag, and neatly stow them in the freezer until needed. The individual packets thaw pretty quickly, and my hubby appreciates the quick access and relative convenience of having "ham-at-the-ready". Great value, too!

This ham was a little bland for my taste—definitely not the star of the charcuterie board. But it’s versatile enough to work in sandwiches, omelets, or tossed into a pasta dish. It’s like the reliable background singer of meats: not thrilling on its own, but makes everything else sound (and taste) better.

A nice item to have on hand for omelets or salads. Or a great food prep item for a recipe. A very small dice. Tasty.

Very good ham. Perfect for the recipe I was making.

Very tasty, not too salty, not too juicy, just the right amount of chew for a basic ham for recipes. This is the perfect amount of ham to put in a large breakfast casserole, it is also already cut up, so you just open up and bloop the whole bag into the baking dish. These were on sale and I like shortcuts, so it was perfect for throwing together a big brunch dish for all these relatives who keep showing up at our house for holidays. :D
