Most of these clips seem to be fairly similar, but this one definitely works as intended, with a good grip and is more sturdy than it initially seems when you get it out of the box. However! There's a flaw with this clip and all other similar ones that can be tricky to work around. If you have a phone with a volume or power button toward the center, the clamp will push down on the button and cause problems! I have a Pixel A4 with this problem, though I was able to semi-fix it by getting it to grip to the edge of a Spigen phone case. It's definitely not secure, but it stays put while I use it if I don't move it. Unfortunately, I don't think any other clip would solve this problem, as they all seem to have the same center-clamp. Two other minor side notes: the phone will only fit in landscape mode, and, because I ordered it with one other small item, Amazon put it in an envelope, causing the box to get damaged. All that aside, still quite happy with it!

With IOS13 adding PS4 controller support I wanted to grab one of these to use with my iPhone. My 6s plus fits nicely even with the extra otterbox case I have on it! The mount itself was a little difficult to get on the controller as it fits VERY tightly, I had to use a spudger to push on the tab to get it to snap in place. But once its on, its very sturdy. Whats great about this mount is you can tighten it so the phone stays at the angle you put it at which is great for when you are playing in bed. I don't know how long the plastic tab will last, but for now, it lets me play Madden before bed so that makes it a 5/5 in my book UPDATE: the Plastic tab was so tight that I actually cracked it in half, but it still functions as intended so I still think it deserves the stars I gave it

Works great just keep a controller dedicated for remote play so you dont have to remove it and risk breaking the clip from removals. And be care when adjusting. Aside from that, this is an amazing product that definitely enhances remote play experience on your device. I have an iphone 11 pro max with a giant otterbox and it holds my phone just fine. Definitely recommend

I bought this for one thing and one thing only: Delta Touch on Android. Yes, Delta Touch to play Project Brutality with the PS4 controller. I know that Doom should be mice and keyboards only... but try that in a car ride, see? Package includes a micro USB to micro USB cable... but my One Plus 5T is usb-c. Fortunately, I already had a usb-c to USB OTG dongle (Aukey, with the plastic lip dremel'ed off so it'll fit through the oem phone case). The translucent plastic bits seem a bit fragile and I see them breaking if I were to take the mount on and off of the controller a few times. I plan on dedicating that controller only for Delta Touch duty so durability shouldn't be an issue. The bad? The PS4 controller doesn't have enough buttons for Doom. Then again, I heard that the Xbox One Elite controller doesn't work on Android at the moment so here we are. The mount great for the price point.

Excellent little clip! Fits snug and secure around my control, a little hard to snap closed and open but it’s not falling off anytime soon. Adds little to no weight on the control. Don’t even know it’s there half the time when I’m not using it.

Not very durable it broke putting it on

Works great for PS4 remote play. Also works great for Steam Link. Had I known the PS4 controller can control the computer mouse remotely on Steam Link I would have bought a PS4 controller years ago since an Xbox controller can’t even do that. This mount works great. You can adjust the phone display angle to your liking. Also this is pretty sturdy. I was expecting it to be flimsy, but it is rock solid once you mount it on your controller. This is a great product

For the price ($9 as of this review) this clip does everything it needs to do. A little difficult to get clipped initially, but once it's secure it feels solid. I'm not sure how well it would hold up if it was regularly taken off, but I plan on leaving mine on most of the time so it's not an issue. Holds the phone well and once tightened, doesn't move around at all.

As soon as I saw it i knew I had to careful fixing it on the controller, it was a little bit awkward and took a minute but once it's on its perfect! Holds my phone perfectly still and no danger of it falling off. I can see how some people break it if they aren't careful or get frustrated. Just take your time and itsbmonwt well spent

It's fairly robust and seems to work quite well, if you have a larger smartphone it does get a bit heavy in the hands but will strengthen your wrists no problem!
