Color indeed I’d say a light gray. I personally love the combination of light Tiffany blue inside and grayish outside. I also understand why they went for more darker color as I have Go 10.3 with light white color and it catches all dirt just by sitting at the desk. So I see more grayish color as a plus

If you drop this device with this cover on, it's toast. But then, given the fragile nature of eink screens this is probably going to happen with whatever case you get anyway. The benefit of this case is that it does afford some protection, especially in a backpack on the go. It also looks great (though it is not quite black as the description says. Not really an issue for me. I don't find it terribly flimsy for what they were going for. There are two positions to view in landscape mode-though a possibility to stand in portrait mode would be nice. It is solid enough in the two slots to view in landscape, if you are not shaking it in ways I never do but are shown in some reviews.

I have the Max Lumi 2, and the case I bought for it is excellent. It offers some protection and functions well. I was excited to upgrade to the Tab X C, but this flimsy case is ridiculous for the price. Like the other reviews say, it's flimsy and cheap, and the magnetic part barely works. I could build a better cover using Gaffer's tape and cardboard. This cover feels like a scam compared to what I got for the Lumi 2.

I actually tried a cheaper case that had better reviews and returned it because the magnetic closure that supposedly covered the pen wasn’t very secure. So I opted for this one and purchased a holder for my pen. The only complaint I really have is it isn’t black. But it works perfectly fine for me.
