I give this Acer notebook, 5 stars. Because I have had 3 Acers over many years, with out to much problems. and for the cost it's is very well worth it. This unit is fast, and with my internet connection, O.M.G. I trust Acer, this is my newwest one, I also have a back up. In the event I do someting dumb.

Getting this laptop up and running was a bit of a headache. The Windows downloader kept freezing halfway through, which made for a pretty frustrating experience. And don’t even get me started on the Microsoft account setup—it was hands down the most annoying process I’ve ever dealt with. Those seat matchup and audio CAPTCHA puzzles? Total nightmares.But once I got past all that, I’ve gotta say, this laptop really impressed me. It’s got such a clean, subtle look and feels solid—not flimsy or cheap. The setup was super intuitive, and everything runs really smooth. I tried juggling a bunch of programs at once, and it handled them like a champ. Even when I tested a few flash games, they ran just fine, though to be fair, those don’t really push the CPU all that much.All in all, this laptop feels like it’s made to travel—slim, lightweight, and comfy to carry around. It’s perfect for regular use, especially if you’re not running anything too demanding. Definitely a solid, easy-to-use machine for everyday tasks. 4-stars for me!

Stay away from this computer! I was excited to purchase this new laptop. It had been years since I bought myself a new computer. I’m a high school teacher so money is tight. After doing a bunch of research I landed on this one. Because we were busy with the end of the school year it took me a month to set it up. No small task to transfer info & set up bookmarks & wifi, etc. Now, just 3 months later this piece of crap won’t work right. The screen keeps going blank right in the middle of work & won’t come back even by plugging it in & doing a full reboot. Also, the power cord feels wonky. The backlit keyboard & screen are nice—when they work—but the computer also falters when loading pages on the web browser & opening basic Microsoft programs. So not fast like they claim. I totally regret this purchase. Hopefully a local computer tech can problem solve the issues for me but at who knows what cost.

Great laptop. The 16GB of RAM and i7 processor really make this a great laptop - very fast. So far, the battery life seems to be very good and the heating issue I noticed in the previous model (2021) is not apparent. The lighted keyboard is very helpful. Display quality is superb!

Very disappointing, Acer is a good company and I was looking forward to using my new laptop, but it is overheating on a flat surface with good ventilation. Additionally, File Explorer is crashing and hanging constantly. I needed this for my business, but I don't have time to debug a brand new computer.
