Love it so far!
I bought this to go with the Lian Li 207 case. Glad I did. I am not a patient cable managers. I allow my self a literal 5 minutes or less to run all cables when I do my build, and this psu + case combo allowed me to have non-embarrassing cable management in about 3 minutes. The performance is good so far, as my 9900x and 4070 super perform flawlessly in all benchmark tests so far. I do not push this 850w at all, so was expecting no issues. I definitely do not hear it over my case fans or aio pump, so I assume that means it is quiet; if the fan even runs. I honestly don't know if it has a fanless option or not, since it has been over a decade since I had a psu I could hear, in which that was the last time that option even meant something to me.

fells good and interesting design
the cable quality is nice they are stiff which makes them feel easy to mold the modular system being the way it is makes it so nice for pc that put the gpu behind the mother board on its side so its functionality is incredible and I feel like it makes hardly and noise great power supply would recommend if you are considering it and want something that looks good while also being new and exciting

Innovative Design Meets High Performance
The Lian Li Edge Series 1200W PSU is a game-changer for custom PC builds. Its unique L-shaped design simplifies cable management, especially in dual-chamber cases, by reorienting connectors for easier access. The detachable USB and PWM fan hub is a thoughtful addition, allowing for flexible placement and reducing cable clutter. Performance-wise, it delivers consistent power with high efficiency, meeting ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 standards. The build quality is top-notch, featuring a 120mm FDB fan for quiet operation and a removable magnetic dust filter for easy maintenance. Overall, this PSU combines innovation with reliability, making it an excellent choice for modern high-performance systems.

PSU power limits
It's more question than a review, I had MSI 1000G with same gold rating, and my sys total power consuption was up to 1200W, and with this unit it spyking to 1100W but it seems that it delivers less power to GPU (5090 with 900W shunt mod) so my question is could this PSU deliver more 1200 in such scenarios, and could it give more that 1200W in short spike scenarios to? How much more? Is there limitations in place for PCIE lane?

Best out there
The psu is top quality and the side panel just makes wiring and installation a breeze specially if you are using a dual chamber case, awesome product

great psu for the price
a little louder then the original edge but no really noticable to the human ear as its still a really quiet psu with Cybenetics Gold rated and Cybenetics A-class noise rating, The usb fan hub is great helps keep more wires hidden from my build beacuse it is l shaped its case limited.. more then enough cables included for any build. 2 tone 12v cables is nice to see if its full connected.

Great PSU but Warning to 50 Series Founders Edition Owners
The L shaped orientation is awesome to build with in a dual chamber case, the individually sleeved braided cables for the motherboard and gpu cables are a nice premium touch. Has performed rock solid so far.The cons: For the white version of the PSU, the provided 12v-2x6 cables do not fit in a 5090 FE (and probably other 50 series FE) due to excess plastic around the connector. Apparently this is a known issue specific to the white version, there is a reddit post outlining the issue from Lian Li. They stated that as of mid February this had been resolved and I was hopeful that meant the cables included in my purchase on March 29 had the reworked connectors, but they do not fit. I'm hopeful that they will be sending the modified cables through an RMA request (no response yet), but for now I am stuck with using the clunky adapter included with the 5090 FE.
