I cleaned off my original application and applied the last of it (small tube?), but this time I did not try to spread it as my first attempt seemed to stick large amounts of paste to the plastic spreader. Instead I applied 12 well spaced blobs and carefully and slowly pressed and twisted the cooler block to really spread out the paste and then completely screwed it down.. I know, I know. but this is how I normally do it and it always works well... I should have just done my usual way from the start...smeg. Anyway, this stuff is top shelf! My orig review: It's very dry, difficult to spread and then I benchmarked with Novabench and HWiNFO64 and noticed that my CPU Max Temp is at 77c which is ok, but that's 3 degrees higher than with the paste that came with the AIO? Does it have to break in or something? Temps went down by 35 C for GPU and 30 C for CPU. *by P***J on February 23, 2025* Amazing results! I have been overclocking my GPU since years for max performance and by far this is the best non-metallic thermal paste I have ever used. The results were surprisingly fantastic. RESULTS: I used it on CPU and GPU for my laptop and the CPU temperatures went down by 30 deg Celsius and GPU by 35 deg Celsius. Before the application my laptop would turn up the fans pretty loud right after boot up. But now it is dramatically silent. Even when playing games like RDR2 the GPU temperature doesn't go above 65 deg Celsius. I overclocked my GPU to max (+205 core clock, +450 Mem clock) and the GPU remains below 65 deg C and CPU remains below 78 deg C. APPLICATION: It is more viscous and much harder to apply as it is more viscous but not too difficult. The trick is to not over do it while moving the spatula or the smooth surface starts to break up. It's worth the price. And I still have enough to reapply when it's needed.
