Michel Mercier Wooden Brush Thick Hair

My kids are mixed and got their dads ultra tight, kinky, curls. I’ve tried a lot of hair products, brushes, and combs that have been recommended by black people and nothing else compares. I’ve used this brush for months now, on 4 mixed kids (all with their dads hair) and I’m really impressed. This is the easiest detangling ever! No more frizzy hair. No more tugging and staging tangles. Just easy brushing and perfect ringlet curls. As you can see in the picture, my kids have really long, thick hair with tight curls. And it works great! This brush has cut our detangling time down to a fraction of what it used to be,

Fantastic detangler! I have had this detangling brush for thick hair for a little while now, and it has proven to be gentle on my 4 type hair when it is most vulnerable, wet. I have less breakage and less hair in this brush when I am detangling with a leave in conditioner. I was using my Denman 9 rows brush the same way, and there was a very noticable difference between the two brushes, I had LOTS more hair shedding and or breakage. I highly recommend the Michel Mercier detangling brush, bravo!

this brush is amazing. My daughter informed me of this Michel Mercier detangling brush. it is perfect for any hair type according to thickness. And any child who is tender headed this is the brush to get!! Absolutely no pain for them. the design is unique that is really does detangle with a smooth ease. the wooden brush is better than the plastic handle in my opinion.

I've bought several of the plastic detanglers from Michel Mercier (thick hair), but wanted to try the wooden one. Those tend to take up water, which drips down the bottom of the handle. Plus, when they fall in the shower, the split apart!For this wooden one:Handle Grip- I like the ergonomic design, which is an improvement over the plastic models.Bristle pattern - good at moving through thick hair when wet.Handle - Not good. If you have thick hair, you know that you cannot really brush through it unless it is wet and well conditioned. So, I took the brush into the shower. The water caused the wooden handle to expand. So, in addition to it cracking at the top, there is now a big gap on the side between the bristle inset and the edge of the handle.So, while the bristle pattern is solid, I am ready to try another brand that has perhaps perfected the handle.

I like this brush because of the bristles. The many different sizes really help with tangles in your hair. I am a migraine sufferer and I have thyroid problems, to find a product that stimulates your scalp, detangles and minimizes sheddin is awesome. The brush also help bring out the luster and sheen in your hair. You can't go wrong with.

Broke the third time I used it. I was brushing from the tip to root working in increments. Should not have been enough to break it. Cheap product.

I bought this brush especially for my daughter who has very thick curly hair. The brush is works wonderfully. It did exactly what it said. I was able to detangle her hair quickly without her being in a lot of discomfort & their was hardly any hair on the brush when I was done. We both love it. I'm definitely buying another one.
