Moore Maker Fighting Bulls Trapper Knife
T**N
Easy rust
Purchased about a month ago. A very handsome Trapper with stainless blade taking an acceptable edge. It easily became my daily carry. Skinned and butchered a deer yesterday and between wife and myself we used a Grohmann & CRKT skinners along with the Moore and a Cattleman’s Trapper. The Grohmann & CRKT performed flawlessly, the other two acceptable. After soap & water washing and cloth drying last night the knives were set aside until this morning for sharpening and oiling. Disappointingly the Moore already had several early rust spots developing 😩😩😩😩. I would not have been too disappointed had it been the Cattleman’s as it’s a $16 dollar knife. I expect better quality from the $70 Moore. Another problem: the nice yellow handle has already developed a crack. I do like the looks of the knife and it does perform everyday tasks well. There is however a serious quality issue regardless of its handsomeness rendering it not worth the money. I won’t be purchasing any more from this company.
