GAAAAAAaLLllAAARRRRggggbbbb(pant)(wobble)...Yeah, not exactly my idea of how to spend a few minutes
OK, confession: I have never hit myself, or a family member, friend, pet, or any other living thing with both of the Stun Flashlights I've had. Well, deeper confession: There was that one roach. But other than that, I'm a Stun Gun Jainist. That being said, when I opened the package my first thought was "wow, this thing is WAY more attractive, way more comfortable to use, and WAY WAY more solid. The entire thing is metal, and it charges from mostly dead to pretty darn alive in about 6 hours. The instructions warn that discharging the stunner charge a lot for show will dramatically decrease its lifespan. True dat. But just like racking a 12-gauge pump shotgun is one of the more off-putting sounds to the wayward burglar or overly hormoned and underly sneaky daughter's boyfriend, this thing is designed like a poisonous caterpillar -- You have a flashlight, which is one of those "duh" items at night outside. Someone is walking towards you. The LED isn't massively powerful, but in a dark area, you'd be able to severely impair someone's abiilty to see exactly where you are. The second trick this nicely build unit has is it also has a strobe that's a click away, and if you have never owned a tactical flashlight with a strobe setting, you may not believe that it's probably better at keeping someone at bay than being able to hit a perfect 1980's-era VanDamme split, and giving your potential assaulter the Neo "bring it" gesture at the same time. If you don't believe me, find someone who has one, and go into a completely dark room, then try to take down the person with a good strong strobe flashlight. You can't see ANYthing. However, the final trick this pocket-sized beastie has is of course what it's named for, and like I noted above, firing a burst into the air is going to dissuade all but determined attackers, so don't. If they manage to fully close with you, flick the switch from strobe to the full-off and spark-armed setting (my one massive gripe about this type of stun gun -- you are required to turn the light off before you can press the front of the light against thin clothing (torso is best, but if you can get it firmly stuck on their neck -- well, I'm not TELLING you to give them about five seconds of nonstop 5,000,000 volt reminders that touching you is, in the words of LeeLoo, "Never Without My Permission". Even a brief encounter -- half a second or so -- if directed at a grasping hand will render that hand less than effective in grabbing at you. Stick it in their neck for one second and they WILL fall to the ground, disoriented and in extreme pain. This is getting to be an instruction manual, not a review, so I'll stop here. The major pros of this defensive item are: Powerful and painful shock which will knock anyone right onto the ground, strobe light which can enable you to escape WITHOUT having to close with them (always better), and a pretty decent charging time. Cons are: you have to remember to flip the switch on the tail to "on" or the stun capacitors won't be in the circuit, and you have to turn the light completely off to enable the shock. I want a stun gun that has a powerful, fast strobe that can be left on while you hit the stun, but I haven't found that unicorn yet. This seems to be a very sound product. Dr. B says go buy one, and hope you don't have to use it. Oh, and check the laws where you live -- some of them are asinine regarding stun guns. Be careful.

Shocking
A serious non-lethal weapon masquerading as a flashlight. So powerful it interferes with video and makes my hair stand on end when triggered. It is important to know that the taser will not fire when the flashlight is on. Taser function can be completely disengaged with an on-off switch on the back of the flashlight. It goes without saying truck don't try this out on any of your friends or yourself.

It was a SHOCKING surprise unboxing this powerful defense mechanism!... Literally!!! 👀
I first should say that my rating 'MAY' be a bit premature, but you can judge for yourself... I believe it is a HUGE mistake to have a powerful stun gun charged with it set to the "ON" position 'INSIDE OF THE MANUFACTURER PACKAGING!!!' 👀... I pull this flashlight stun gun out of the shipping package and it IMMEDIATELY STARTED ZAPPING NON-STOP!!!... However, beside THAT mistake, once I got it safely out the package, I see it has safety features. So you won't have to worry about ZAPPING yourself if you use the safety features properly... It's pretty easy & self explanatory. What I like about this product is that it's packed with 2.517 microCoulombs! 👀... MicroCoulombs is the TRUE measurement of the power a stun gun has... 1.0 microCoulombs is the minimum strength you want to have in your stun gun... Many stun gun brands will advertise how many volts it has... Voltage is next to meanless when it comes to stun guns... If your a lady, disable, or lack the physical ability to effectively defend yourself against any perpetrator, you don't want something that's going to zap 'em just enough to make a perpetrator angry, only to attack more violently... NO, you need something that's going to ABSOLUTELY put a perpetrator flat on their 'hind-quarters'!!!... At 2.517 microCoulombs, THIS stun gun will do just that... Ignore voltage, pay attention to microCoulombs... If they don't list microCoulombs, find a stun gun that does... Period. I purchased this stun gun because I have a heart condition, so I can't physically defend myself as I used to... So if I'm out alone fishing or flying my drones; some unsavory character 'may' possibly see a disabled person and 'think' I'm easy pickings and attempt to forcefully "relieve" me of my drones & equipment... I'm not one of those guy 'itching' for an opportunity to use my defense mechanisms... I pray I never have to use any of my them EVER... But it's better to be prepared. Live long enough and you'll firmly understand that preparation is one of life's finest principles. The Cons of this product: ° I'd like to see a small light indicator to let you know exactly where the battery charge is. There's no way to KNOW where the charge is on this product. I'd set a date and charge it monthly JUST to be sure it's ready if/when you may need it. ° The rechargeable battery type in this product is nickel based (either nickel-cadmium or nickel-metal hydride, if I'm not mistaken)... These nickel based rechargeable batteries give out WAY faster than lithium ion rechargeable batteries. I would prefer it had a lithium ion. The Pros of this product: ° High stopping power: 2.517 μC is more effective than most stun guns on the market. ° Practical, non-threatening look: Appears as a basic flashlight, so it won’t draw unwanted attention. ° Affordable: Easy to replace when/if the battery eventually wears out. Food for Thought - * Nickel-cadmium or nickel-metal hydride recharge batteries have an average lifespan of about 1-2 years... Lithium ion rechargeable batteries typically last about 3-4 years... Even though this Sabre stun gun doesn't have a lithium ion battery, I think it's a great purchase. The reason being is even if this stun gun's nickel based battery were to give out after one year, I'd look at it from the standpoint that I'd GLADLY rent a powerful stun gun with 2.517 microCoulombs for only $24 to $29 per year! It's stronger than most stun guns on the market, and if it lasts more than a year, then it's a bonus, imo... When it gives out, you pay only $24 - $29 to re-up on a new powerful stun gun for another year or so... I mean, would YOU rent a powerful stun gun for around $2.00 - $2.25 per month?👀... I definitely would... That's how I see it. - A Few Quick Tips for Maximizing Its Lifespan- 1. [Charge it monthly]: Even if you don’t use it. Set a monthly recurring reminder on your phone. 2. [Test it monthly]: Just a quick zap in the air to make sure it’s still working. 3. [Store it safely]: Keep it somewhere cool, dry, and easily accessible. 4. [If you notice weak zaps or dim light]: Time to replace it-don’t wait until you need it! Hope this helps! 👋🏾😌

High quality, very fast shipping, and best price on the internet! Highly recommend!
As a woman who has been followed in a store, I remember being so scared, especially since I had my 6 month old daughter with me. After that, I knew I had to do something to keep us safe. This stun gun is perfect. I tested it today (Not on anyone lol) and the arc and sound was violent, scary, and very impressive! Just hearing it would keep any sane person away! I like that it has a strobe light, my husband couldn't look at it for longer than a second or two, would definitely blind an attacker and make it hard for them to get to you. I like that it just looks like a plain flashlight and the size is perfect. Fits in the side pocket of my purse for easy access. I chose a stun gun because I have a healthy fear and respect for real guns, so this is the next best thing! (I do travel with a pistol in my glove box but I do not feel comfortable carrying them on me). I hope I never have to use it, but I am glad I have it just in case. I was super impressed with the quality, the extremely fast shipping, and the price which was about $25 cheaper than on most websites. I would highly recommend this product and seller and that all women be proactive and keep themselves safe!
