All-Clad Collective Cookware, D7 Slow Cooker, 6 quart

Exelente olla, muy gruesa, mantiene calor uniforme, mejor que algunas de 5 capas con núcleo de cobre y cuesta menos. Ampliamente recomendable.

I use this just like my enameled cast iron. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the thick 7 layer pan holds heat steady and well. It’s really a nice and unusual piece from All-clad. At full price, it isn’t a bargain, but it was on sale for D3 money, and I’m glad I added it to the kitchen arsenal. I may buy another and give it to my son and his wife. Be aware though, it’s about twice the weight of its D3 counterpart. I can’t think of a better braising pan. And the handles are surprisingly good. It cleans up like any other stainless pan.

This is the end all of braiser. I adore this pan. Heavy, heavy! I wish it were 12 quart.

Don't buy All-Clad off Amazon. It is not administered by All-Clad so the All-Clad can not offer any support. Amazon customer service is horrible on All-Clad as they have limited options... much frustrations... multiple hours on the phone... phone number says Seattle but is actually out of country with roosters crowing in background. If you have an issue on a cheap item, especially by a 3rd party seller, amazon is helpful. On tight profit margin items administered by Amazon such as All-Clad... horrible. Thanks Amazon.

Yes, it is very expensive...but nobody ever regretted buying an All-Clad in the long run...this one is no exception. The reason to buy the D7 for this (over the cheaper variants) is due to the volume of the liquid it can hold...the thicker material allows it to retain and distribute heat better. for skillets and sauciers that is not generally used for long cooking times, D3 is still the most practical...but for any use case for mostly longer (and mostly unsupervised) cooking D5 is better, and when volume gets even bigger...D7 or the unobtanium copper core line.
